The Fuel Line for Warm Up Valve is an OEM-spec Porsche fuel line designed for classic air-cooled Porsche 911 models equipped with Bosch CIS / K-Jetronic mechanical fuel injection. This line connects to the warm-up valve / warm-up regulator and plays an essential role in maintaining correct fuel routing and pressure control during cold starts and engine warm-up.
Fits:
- Porsche 911 T-K 1972-1973 2.4L WB (F)
- Porsche 911 1974-1976 2.7L / 1976 3.0 Carrera
Fits On To Diagram Ref No 28
In CIS fuel systems, the warm-up regulator helps manage control pressure so the engine can start cleanly when cold and transition smoothly to normal running conditions as temperatures rise. A properly functioning fuel line is critical to ensure stable pressure and leak-free operation. Over time, original fuel lines can degrade from age, heat exposure, and vibration, leading to cracking, seepage, or weakened fittings.
What This Product Does:
- Carries fuel to/from the warm-up valve / warm-up regulator
- Helps regulate control pressure in CIS injection systems
- Supports smooth cold start operation and warm running performance
- Ensures fuel is delivered through the correct metering path
- Maintains leak-free, correct routing using OEM-style fittings
Symptoms Of A Failing Fuel Line:
- Fuel smell in the engine bay
- Visible fuel seepage or dampness around fittings
- Cracked or aged line material (especially on older CIS cars)
- Hard starting or poor cold running (if pressure is affected)
- Rough idle during warm-up
- Potential fuel leaks creating a fire risk
Why Replacement Matters:
- Prevents dangerous fuel leaks in the engine bay
- Maintains correct CIS fuel pressure regulation for proper drivability
- Supports reliable cold starts and smoother warm-up operation
- Helps avoid engine running issues caused by pressure loss
- Preserves safety and originality in classic Porsche maintenance
