What Does the Front Brake Disc Rotor Do?
The front brake disc is the primary friction surface within the braking system. Mounted directly to the wheel hub, it rotates with the wheel and is clamped by the brake pads whenever the brake pedal is applied.

Why Do Brake Disc Rotors Fail?

normal use. Common causes of replacement include:

- Thermal distortion causing brake judder.
- Heat checking or small surface cracks.
- Corrosion after prolonged exposure to moisture.

When Should Front Brake Disc Rotors Be Replaced?
