Gearbox mount set.
This OE Match gearbox mount set includes two transmission mounts along with the correct genuine Porsche mounting hardware required for installation. Designed as a direct-fit replacement for Porsche factory components, this kit provides the proper support and vibration damping needed to maintain stable drivetrain operation in Porsche 718 Boxster and Cayman (982) models.

The gearbox mount is a structural component that connects the transmission to the vehicle chassis. These mounts are engineered to replicate the design and damping characteristics of the original Porsche part, ensuring the gearbox remains correctly positioned while isolating drivetrain vibrations. Hydraulic-style construction helps absorb movement from the engine and transmission during acceleration, braking and gear changes.

This set of two mounts allows both sides of the gearbox support system to be replaced simultaneously, ensuring balanced support and consistent drivetrain performance. Genuine Porsche bolts and nuts are included to provide the correct high-strength hardware required for safe and accurate installation.
Gearbox mounts secure the transmission to the chassis while absorbing vibration and limiting excessive drivetrain movement. When functioning correctly, they help maintain smooth power delivery, reduce cabin vibration and keep the gearbox aligned during shifting.
Replacing worn mounts with this OE Match pair restores proper drivetrain stability and ensures the transmission remains securely supported under load.
Transmission mounts can deteriorate over time due to heat, vibration and repeated drivetrain loads. Worn mounts may allow excessive movement of the gearbox, resulting in clunking noises during gear changes, increased vibration in the cabin and reduced drivetrain stability. Replacing both mounts at the same time ensures even support across the drivetrain, restoring smooth shifting behaviour and improving overall driving comfort.
