Having problems with your Check Engine Light?
Want to run Cat Bypass pipes or a free flowing sports catalyst set up on your vehicle without having to reprogram the DME (ECU)?

Our adapter offsets the oxygen sensor about 4 inches from the gas stream. This achieves, in most cases, a sufficient measurement for the air/CO ratio and increases the tolerance range between the pre and post cat oxygen sensors. In addition, the sensitivity of the oxygen sensor is also reduced allowing you to run a nearly any exhaust or catalytic set up, including bypass pipes, without the need to reprogram your ECU!
Only used for the 2nd oxygen sensor (after catalytic). Should only be installed by tuners

Product Details:

Universal O2 spacers with real precious metal Catalytic Converters lengthen the distance between the O2 spacer(s). We've taken our spacers a step further by having built-in catalytic converters to allow the ECU to properly read exhaust gas and perform at optimal performance.
Oxygen sensors can occasionally trigger a CEL on stock vehicles due to the new advances of technology and would require an O2 spacer to bring the vehicle back to equilibrium and allow the ECU to read exhaust gases within the proper threshold.
FEATURES:
• Fits most makes & models worldwide (Specify Angle option from drop down above and Quantity needed for your specific vehicle)
• Spacer available in a 90 Degree
• Male end threads into existing M18 x 1.5 O2 Bungs
• Spacer body dimensions: 3 3/4" L x 1 1/2" W x 1 1/2" H
• Fitting dimensions: 1" L x 1" W x 1" H (not including threaded portion)
• 1" depth of threads on fittings for adjustments
Read about MotoIQ's 987.2 Cayman S track build that used these O2 Spacers
NOTES:
• For use on DOWNSTREAM oxygen sensors only
Universal fitment for all cars
• For off road competition use only, not to be use on public roads or highways. Please check with your local authorities to ensure compliance with all laws.
• There is no guarantee this will prevent a CEL from triggering, please contact a Fabspeed Performance Specialist for more details.
PURCHASE DISCLAIMER: Fabspeed Motorsport does not condone the use of emission defeat devices for any vehicles used on public streets or roadways. Fabspeed Motorsport will not tamper, remove, disable, or bypass emissions equipment on a motor vehicle in accordance with 40 CFR Section 86.1854.12(a)(3), Clean Air Act 40 CFR 1068.101(b). This includes software, known as tunes, that reprogram a motor vehicles electronic control module to alter engine performance and enable the removal of filters, catalysts, and other critical emissions controls.

Product Details:
Universal O2 Spacers with Catalytic Converters scrub the exhaust and lengthen the distance between the O2 sensor(s) and the exhaust flow to reduce the chance of a CEL.
We've taken our O2 spacers a step further. The factory ECU compares the readings from a pair of oxygen sensors to measure the effectiveness of the catalysts. When a high-flow cat or catbypass pipe is used the exhaust gases reach the O2 sensor faster and uncleaned, leading to high chances to throw a CEL. Our O2 spacers retract the secondary oxygen sensors from the direct flow of gases, restoring the balance that the ECU requires when using aftermarket catalysts or catbypass pipes. The high quality built in catalysts scrub the exhaust to further reduce the chance of a CEL. Two fitting options and the two piece design allow for adjustment to get best possible fitment and results.
FEATURES:
Fits most makes & models worldwide
Compatible with all Fabspeed Motorsport header, Sport Cat, and Catbypass products
Minimizes the triggering of the CEL by moving the O2 sensor further from the exhaust stream and scrubbing exhaust

Exhaust Fitment, System Compatibility and Quality
Correct exhaust fitment and system compatibility are essential for performance, emissions compliance, and long-term reliability.
Matched to Original Porsche Exhaust Specifications
All components are engineered to meet original Porsche standards, ensuring correct pipe routing, mounting points, and thermal performance. This includes systems such as heat exchangers and pre-silencers.
Designed for Complete System Integration
Exhaust systems rely on multiple interconnected components working together, including:
- cross over pipes and flow balancing components
- gaskets and nuts, bolts and studs
- mounting brackets, straps and clamps
- exhaust fitting kits
Supporting Sensors and Control Systems
Modern Porsche exhaust systems integrate advanced sensors and emissions controls, including:
- lambda sensors and oxygen probes
- lambda sensor extensions
- exhaust gas temperature sensors
- exhaust pressure sensors
- NOx sensors
Turbocharged models also rely on correctly functioning wastegates and supporting emissions systems such as EGR components and AdBlue and SCR systems.
Porsche Exhaust System Maintenance and Longevity
Exhaust components are exposed to high temperatures, pressure, and environmental conditions, making regular inspection essential.
| Component | Typical Service or Inspection Interval | Common Signs of Wear |
|---|---|---|
| Silencers / Mufflers | Inspect every 5–8 years | Corrosion, increased noise, internal failure |
| Catalytic Converters | Inspect every 8–12 years | Deteriorated rubber, worn surfaces, slippery pedals |
| Exhaust Manifolds / Headers | Inspect every 8–12 years | Cracks, leaks, reduced efficiency |
| Exhaust Mounts & Clamps | Inspect every 3–5 years | Vibration, rattling, loose fitment |
| Gaskets & Seals | Inspect every 3–5 years | Exhaust leaks, ticking noises |
| Sensors (Lambda / EGT / NOx) | Inspect every 5–10 years | Warning lights, incorrect readings |
| Heat Shields | Inspect every 5–10 years | Rattling, corrosion, detachment |
| Exhaust Valves / Vacuum Systems | Inspect every 5–8 years | Stuck valves, inconsistent sound |
Porsche Exhaust Performance and Upgrade Advice
Upgrading your Porsche exhaust system enhances both performance and driving experience. From improved airflow and reduced back pressure to enhanced exhaust tone, the right system can transform your vehicle.
Benefits of Performance Exhaust Upgrades
- Improved Engine Efficiency: Upgraded manifolds, sports catalysts, and exhaust systems improve gas flow, supporting better engine response and power delivery.
- Enhanced Exhaust Sound: Sport silencers and valvetronic systems allow drivers to control exhaust tone, from refined to aggressive.
- Weight Reduction: Performance systems from manufacturers such as Akrapovic reduce overall vehicle weight, improving handling dynamics.
- Optimised System Integration: Using correctly specified components ensures compatibility across sensors, catalysts, and ECU systems.
- Long-Term Reliability: High-quality materials and precise engineering reduce the risk of premature failure under high thermal loads.
