HOW TO FIT: Firstly prise of the oval plate arrowed on the distributor with a screwdriver. Then remove the large black air guide pipe as we need to drill a hole in it at the green dot. The pipe removes by loosening jubilee clips at top and bottom. You will also need to remove two sensor connectors on the pipe. I also removed the two sensors near the distributor so that I had easy access to the plate. Drill at 18mm hole in the pipe, 40mm to the right of the tail light ventilation nipple. Deburr the hole and remove all shavings. Install the rubber grommet (B) into the hole and install the white connector (C) into the grommet.Install the distributor connector (A) into the hole in the distributor where the plate was. Finally refit the air pipe and connect back up all the sensors. Install the hose (D) onto the new distributor and air pipe nipples and route

This results in a total weight reduction of 3.15 kg (7 lbs) per pair — a 65% savings compared to the original.
Engineered and flow bench tested to ensure optimal airflow volume, the carbon fiber version features a matte finish, while the thermoplastic model comes painted in black, with the option for custom repainting. Both versions are free of logos, providing a clean, personalized look.

Many people are using these on 95's but fitment at the base is poor, and we do not recommend installation on this model year.

This pipe allows you to save 9 pounds from the removal of the factory blower motor assembly, but still have a functioning heater system in your car. Manufactured from ultra strong, lightweight carbon fiber and comes equipped with the aluminium fitting for the distributor breather tube.

Removing the blower motor assembly from your 1989-98 964/993 is a very standard modification for cars that want to loose a few pounds. This modification reduces your cars weight by about 10 pounds and really cleans up the engine bay. This kit is an exact replica as used by Porsche Motorsports for the factory lightweight 964 CUP and 964 RSR race cars. Manufactured from aluminum and is available in Red and Black Powder coat or clear anodized. Comes with all the stainless steel hardware required for a 20 minute installation.
