Silverlake Projects presents a complete intake system for air-cooled Porsche 964/993 engines equipped with ITBs (Individual Throttle Bodies), designed for maximum performance and efficiency.
The intake system includes:
- 2 x GT3-style intake manifolds in glass-reinforced thermoplastic
- Glass-reinforced thermoplastic intake T-tube for air filter connection
- Resonance flap or resonance flap delete tube in glass-reinforced thermoplastic, complete with vacuum actuator
- 6 x high-temperature silicone couplers for manifold-to-runner connections
- 4 x high-temperature silicone couplers for manifold-to-T/resonance flap connections
- TMAP sensor for accurate manifold pressure readings
- All mounting fasteners in lightweight titanium alloy
- Vacuum reservoir for optimal pressure management
Weighing just 4.5 kg (9.9 lbs), this system is significantly lighter than the stock 964 intake, which weighs 11.5 kg (25.3 lbs).
Why choose our system?
- 50% lighter than stock: A combination of carbon fiber, thermoplastics, and titanium results in a remarkably light system.
- Fuel rail precision mounting: Direct mounting to the runner ensures perfect injector press fit.
- Superior heat insulation: CNC-machined PTFE inserts between the cylinder head and runner offer exceptional heat protection, especially in idle or street driving conditions.
- Perfect sealing: Custom nitrile O-rings between the runner and cylinder head, as well as the intake T and throttle body, guarantee a secure, leak-free fit.
- Premium silicone sleeves: Silverlake’s precision-molded OEM+ silicone sleeves provide superior temperature resistance and ensure a flawless fit with all components, delivering better airflow and an unmatched look.
- Titanium fasteners: Tin-coated titanium alloy hardware not only reduces weight but also enhances the system’s aesthetic appeal.
This intake system is built for those seeking the ultimate performance, weight savings, and durability for their Porsche 964/993 engine.
