The grommet seals the washer pump connection to the washer bottle, helping retain washer fluid inside the reservoir while securing the pump in position. A correctly fitted grommet helps prevent fluid leaks, air ingress, pump looseness, and poor washer system performance.
Functions
• Replaces the washer pump sealing grommet
• Seals the washer pump to the washer fluid reservoir
• Helps prevent washer fluid leaks
• Helps secure the washer pump in position
• Supports reliable windscreen washer operation
• Suitable for washer pump replacement or washer bottle service
• OE Match replacement for Porsche washer system repair.
Why Replace This Part?
Washer pump grommets can harden, crack, shrink, split, perish, or leak due to age, washer fluid exposure, temperature changes, and repeated pump removal. A worn grommet may cause washer fluid loss, dampness around the reservoir, a loose washer pump, or poor pump sealing. Replacing the grommet helps restore a reliable seal and clean washer system operation.
When to Replace This Part
• Washer fluid is leaking from the pump connection
• Washer pump feels loose in the reservoir
• Grommet is cracked, hardened, split, or missing
• Washer pump or washer bottle is being replaced
• Windscreen washer system service is being carried out
• Fluid reservoir area shows dampness or residue
• Vehicle is undergoing Porsche body or washer system restoration
Where it fits on the car
This grommet fits at the washer pump mounting point on the washer fluid reservoir. Exact reservoir location can vary depending on Porsche model and model year.
