The OE Match track rod inner joint is a steering system component designed for Porsche 964 Carrera 4 and 964 RS models. This joint sits at the inner end of the tie rod (track rod) where it connects to the steering rack, forming a crucial pivot point within the steering linkage
Sold individually, we recommend these should be replaced in pairs

The track rod inner joint is part of the steering linkage assembly that connects the steering rack to the front wheel hubs through the tie rods. Each steering rack uses two track rods, each terminating in replaceable joints that allow the linkage to articulate while transmitting steering input.
The OE Match version is designed to match the original Porsche component used on 964 Carrera 4 and RS models. It provides the necessary articulation between the steering rack and tie rod, ensuring precise steering geometry and smooth movement of the front wheels.
The inner track rod joint allows the steering linkage to pivot while transferring movement from the steering rack to the tie rod and ultimately to the front wheels. This articulation allows the steering system to function smoothly while accommodating suspension movement.
Replacing worn inner joints restores steering precision and eliminates unwanted play within the steering system.
