If you are looking to improve your overall driving enjoyment or reduce your eco-footprint, you need a Pedal Commander. Most newer vehicles are manufactured with Electronic Throttle Control (ETC). This means your acceleration is no longer powered with the old school throttle cable that gave you a linear relationship between your foot and the throttle body, but now everything is powered by electronics and your car’s computer (ECU). The electronic throttle does not provide the same performance as it creates a lag from your initial accelerator push.
Vehicles are changing every year, mostly because of the rate at which technology is developing. The systems that were once mechanically controlled are now controlled by the vehicle’s computer. One such new system is the Electronic Throttle Control (ETC), known as drive-wire-wire, which is an automobile technology that electronically connects the accelerator pedal to the throttle, replacing a mechanical linkage.
A typical drive-by-wire system has 3 major components: (1) an accelerator pedal model, (2) a powertrain/engine control system (PCM/ECM), and (3) a throttle valve that opens and closes by the electric motor. It also has several benefits such as reduced weight to take the pressure off the engine, better placement for easier time control and flexibility, and helps improve fuel economy. However, it has its limitations.
If you want your vehicle to respond quicker, Pedal Commander is the right tool for the job! Pedal Commander will allow you to customise the throttle response in the way you want.
Faster acceleration
Are you looking for accessories that complement your driving experience? The Pedal Commander system eliminates the delay from your electronic throttle pedal, allowing your car to accelerate faster, giving your vehicle a night/day difference in performance.
36 Adjustable settings
Pedal Commander is equipped with four modes, Eco, City, Sport, and Sport +. Each mode has an additional nine drive modes to fine-tune to your liking, making this a must-have accessory for your Porsche.
Fuel savings
With Eco mode's significantly slow response, Pedal Commander can increase your MPG and save you up to 20% in fuel economy. You can use the Pedal Commander throttle response controller as a fuel-saver device.
Plug and play
Pedal Commander is a simple plug-and-play device that takes only about 5 minutes to install. Pedal Commander is also Bluetooth-compatible, so you can control the unit using our free Pedal Commander app.
Will not void warranty
Pedal Commander will not void the warranty on your PORSCHE or leave any traces behind on your ECU.
Quick Installation
Installation does not require technical expertise. Pedal Commander installation takes an average of 15 minutes.

What This Product Does
The rubber forms the accelerator pedal's foot-contact surface. It is a replacement for the pedal rubber rather than the throttle cable, linkage or complete pedal mechanism.
Functions
- Provides a rubber contact surface for the driver's shoe.
- Renews the pedal covering when the existing rubber is worn or damaged.
Technical Details
- Brand: OE Match.
- Material: rubber.
- Application: accelerator pedal.
Symptoms of Fault
Relevant signs include a polished contact surface, cracked or split rubber, and a covering that has become loose. Sticking, uneven resistance or delayed pedal return require separate investigation of the pedal mechanism and associated throttle components.
Why Replacement Matters
Renewing deteriorated pedal rubber addresses wear at the foot-contact surface without replacing unrelated accelerator components. Inspect the pedal beneath it and confirm that the replacement is securely seated. A new rubber covering should not be treated as a remedy for cable, pivot or linkage faults.
FAQs
Is this a complete accelerator assembly?
No. The product is the accelerator pedal rubber, not a complete pedal-and-cable assembly.
Which reference should I compare?
Check 827723511B against your existing component details. The earlier reference 827723511A is also relevant for comparison.
Will it resolve a sticking accelerator?
Not necessarily. Inspect the pedal pivots, cable and linkage to identify the cause before replacing parts.
