Designed to support the rear light assembly and maintain its correct mounting position, this original-style reinforcing frame is ideal for replacing corroded, damaged or deteriorated original components during classic Porsche restoration.
What Does the Reinforcing Frame Do?

Ideal for restoration projects or replacing cracked, faded or damaged original lenses.
What This Product Does:
- Provides clear rear indicator and rear lighting visibility.
- Restores the original appearance of the rear lamp assembly.
- Protects bulbs and electrical components from moisture and road debris.
- Ensures correct light colour distribution for road safety.
- Helps maintain a weather-resistant seal within the lamp housing.
- Improves visibility to other road users.
- Provides factory-style fitment and finish.
- Forms an essential part of the vehicle's rear lighting system.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Cracked or broken lens.
- Faded or discoloured red or amber sections.
- Cloudy or hazy lens reducing light output.
- Moisture or condensation inside the rear lamp.
- Water ingress causing corrosion of bulbs or lamp holders.
- Loose or poorly fitting lens.
- Reduced indicator or rear light visibility.
- Damaged mounting points or fixing holes.
- Cosmetic deterioration affecting the rear appearance.
- MOT or vehicle inspection failure due to damaged lighting components.
Why Replacement Matters:
- Rear indicator lenses are continually exposed to UV radiation, rain, road debris, vibration and changing temperatures. Over time, the plastic can fade, become brittle or crack, reducing light output and allowing moisture to enter the lamp assembly.
- A damaged lens can significantly reduce the visibility of the vehicle's indicators and rear lights, increasing the risk of accidents while also allowing water to damage bulbs, lamp holders and electrical connections. In addition, deteriorated lenses detract from the appearance and originality of a classic Porsche.
- Replacing worn or damaged rear indicator lenses restores clear, reliable lighting performance and the authentic factory appearance of the rear light assembly. The OE Match replacements provide OE-style fitment, premium UV-resistant construction and long-lasting durability, making them the ideal choice for Porsche restoration, repair and preventative maintenance.

- Provides a factory-style fit and finish.
- Helps improve vehicle visibility when parked or driving at night.

Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Cracked or broken reflector lens.
- Faded or discoloured reflective surface.
- Reduced reflectivity at night.
- Loose or poorly fitting reflector.
- Moisture or dirt trapped behind the reflector.
- Chipped or scratched lens surface.
- Missing reflector.
- Damaged mounting points.
- Cosmetic deterioration affecting the rear appearance.
- MOT or vehicle inspection failure where reflector condition is assessed.
Why Replacement Matters:
- Rear reflectors are continuously exposed to sunlight, rain, road debris, stone impacts and changing temperatures. Over time, the reflective surface can fade, while the lens may become cracked or damaged, significantly reducing its effectiveness and detracting from the appearance of the vehicle.
- A damaged or missing reflector reduces the visibility of the vehicle to other road users in poor lighting conditions, increasing the risk of accidents. It can also allow moisture and debris to accumulate around the mounting area, potentially affecting surrounding bodywork and trim.
- Replacing a worn or damaged rear reflector restores the vehicle's passive safety features and factory appearance. The OE Match replacement provides OE-style fitment, premium UV-resistant materials and long-lasting reflective performance, making it the ideal choice for Porsche restoration, repair and preventative maintenance.

Rear Indicator Rubber Gasket – fits Left or Right Hand Side
Sold each - 2 required per car
Restore the weatherproof seal and factory fit of your
classic Porsche lighting with this OE Rear Indicator Rubber Gasket. This high-quality replacement gasket provides a reliable seal
between the rear indicator housing and the bodywork, helping to protect the
electrical components while maintaining the original appearance of the vehicle.
Fits:
- Porsche 356A 1955-59
- Porsche 356B 1959-63
- Porsche 356C 1963-65
Over time, the original rubber gasket can harden, crack, shrink or deteriorate due to constant exposure to sunlight, moisture, road dirt and changing temperatures. A worn gasket can allow water to enter the indicator housing, leading to corrosion, electrical faults and damage to surrounding paintwork.
Manufactured to OE standards using premium-quality rubber, this replacement gasket delivers an accurate fit and dependable sealing performance, making it the ideal choice for concours restorations, body repairs or routine maintenance.
What Does the Rear Indicator Rubber Gasket Do?
The rear indicator gasket creates a protective seal between the rear indicator lamp assembly and the vehicle body.
Its primary functions include:
- Preventing water from entering the indicator housing.
- Protecting electrical connections from moisture.
- Reducing dirt and debris ingress.
- Cushioning the lamp assembly against vibration.
- Protecting the surrounding bodywork.
- Maintaining a neat, factory-correct installation.
A correctly fitted gasket helps prolong the life of the indicator assembly while preserving the finish of the surrounding body panels.
Why Replace the Rear Indicator Gasket?
Rubber components naturally deteriorate over time, particularly on classic vehicles.
Common signs of failure include:
- Cracked or split rubber.
- Hardened or brittle material.
- Shrinking gasket causing poor sealing.
- Water ingress into the light housing.
- Corrosion around the lamp mounting area.
- Damaged paint caused by trapped moisture.
- Gasket flattened through years of compression.
Replacing the gasket restores effective sealing and helps prevent costly repairs to the lamp assembly and bodywork.
Features
- OE replacement rear indicator rubber gasket.
- Manufactured from high-quality, weather-resistant rubber.
- Precision moulded for accurate fitment.
- Creates a secure watertight seal.
- Helps protect indicator housing and electrical components.
- Reduces vibration between the lamp and bodywork.
- Restores factory-style fit and appearance.
