SOUL’s Race Exhaust System is designed for aggressive track use and built around maximum durability, lightness, and performance.
• Fits all Porsche 981 Cayman / Boxster vehicles (2013-2016) PDK TRANSMISSION, with factory or SOUL headers (differences in tolerances from other manufacturers can create issues with over axle pipe clearance)
• Designed and built in-house at our Willow Grove, PA facility
• System weighs approximately up to 18 lbs / 8.1 kg less than factory exhaust non-PSE components ( 30 lbs vs 44 lbs non-PSE / 48 PSE with mounting brackets included)

DEVELOPMENT::
Our mission was to engineer a lightweight, durable, and cost-effective race exhaust system for the 981 Boxster and Cayman—one that delivers proven performance, reliability, and accessibility for serious track enthusiasts. By collaborating with respected shops, technicians, and seasoned drivers who have conducted their own independent testing over the years—including special thanks to Bryan Schute at Speed Sport Tuning and the teams at LN Engineering / BRS—we developed a track-bred system designed to meet the demands of competitive driving.
PIPING:
The system features full 2.5” over-axle piping, carefully profiled to provide sufficient clearance for axles and sway bar end links—even on aggressively lowered or heavily modified vehicles.
BESPOKE BRACKETS & MOUNTS:
Traditional welded hangers and brackets are prone to failure under the rigors of racing—a failure that can end a track day instantly. To solve this, SOUL designed a reinforced mounting solution that sheds over 5 lbs compared to the OEM setup, while remaining modular and easy to repair or replace after a track incident.
The forward piping connects to a custom SOUL transmission mounting brace—engineered for both manual and PDK models—via heavy-duty Mikalor band clamps. Additional rubber vibration dampeners support the over-axle piping, minimizing stress from flex and vibration across the system to ensure long-term durability under extreme use.
CONSTRUCTION:
Each system is handcrafted in-house by our skilled fabrication team using mandrel-bent .065″ wall, 2.5″ diameter T304L stainless steel tubing. Brackets are laser-cut, press brake-formed, and TIG welded for maximum strength, while all welds are back-purged to ensure long-term durability under the most extreme racing conditions.
SOUND:
This system is designed with track performance as the priority, not sound suppression. It is extremely loud, and even with resonators, some drone will be present. We do not recommend pairing this exhaust with aftermarket headers for street use. At wide-open throttle, however, the sound is nothing short of exhilarating—raw, aggressive, and unmistakably motorsport. For a more balanced option suited to daily driving, we suggest our Valved Exhaust System.

Every exhaust is rigorously quality-checked and fixture-tested to guarantee perfect fitment. Systems are securely foam-packed for safe delivery and include all-new high-grade hardware for the header-to-exhaust flanges. Thorough instructions are provided, making installation straightforward for most DIY enthusiasts.

At the axle-back solution only the rear muffler is replaced by a REMUS sport exhaust. The REMUS sport exhaust for the Porsche Boxster 718 type 982 offers a significant increase in performance and torque due to reduction of back pressure and flow optimization. Less weight and the well-known sonorous REMUS sound are additional features, which distinguish the REMUS sport exhaust from the stock exhaust. REMUS axle-back solutions are available for a wide range of cars.

SOUND: TUBI SOUND
Tubi Sound is the standard sound of Tubi Style exhausts, louder and more powerful than the original sound. This sound represents our brand.
The kit includes the right and left-hand mufflers without valve. It can be assembled on the OE central silencer, or in combination with the Tubi Style central silencer.
The component is perfectly interchangeable with the original components, following the instructions in the constructor's workshop manual.
EXHAUST VALVE: NO VALVE
The exhaust system does not include a valve and always guarantees the most impressive sound. If the standard system includes one, control of the exhaust valve by both the engine ECU and by the driver via the specific control systems is no longer possible.
The muffler must be used in conjunction with the original exhaust end tips.

ECU REMAPPING - FOR PERFORMANCE
On turbo cars, catalytic converter replacement may modify turbocharger operating conditions and cause a deterioration of the torque delivery curve. To ensure full benefit from the new racing component, the engine's ECU must be reprogrammed to maximise performance. If the engine warning light comes on, the ECU must always be reprogrammed to eliminate it

The + Rumore variant delivers the original Tubi Sound timbre but with the highest possible volume
SYSTEM FINISH - POLISHED
Mirror finishes are highly reflective and created by polishing the stainless steel. The polishing process enhances appearance and consistency, making cleaning easier. A special rolling procedure is used. It is essential to remove deep scratches as any surface defects will be very noticeable on the finished product. it improves corrosion resistance. The polishing eradicates crevices where corrosive particles can lodge themselves

REDUCED CELL CATALYTIC CONVERTER - 100 CELLS
Race catalytic converters have fewer cells than standard factory systems. This reduces exhaust back pressure while still maintaining the operation of the catalytic converter, and improves performance and sound
EXHAUST VALVE - ELECTRIC
The exhaust system is complete with electric valve. The electric actuator is not included and the standard actuator already installed on the car must be used. Control of the original valve is still provided
HEAT SHIELDING - INSULATED
Tubi Style ensures maximum protection for components in critical and dangerous positions by using insulation made with the same technology employed by car manufacturers
Please note: sports catalytic converters or bypass pipes do have type approval and may not be legally installed on vehicles manufactured after 1st March 2001. They can not be used on a public road and are not MOT compliant, they are designed for race and track cars only.
