The EVO-X See-Through Shark Fin Kit by SilverRocket is a dry-carbon aerodynamic component for Porsche 992 GT3 and 992 GT3 RS. It combines a prominent central fin with two transparent rear panels, retaining visibility through the interior rear-view mirror while adding a motorsport-influenced roof profile. Developed from advanced aerodynamic technologies pioneered in Porsche 963 LMDH hyper car, this kit has been thoughtfully optimized for both high-performance track use and practical daily driving.
Fits:
Porsche 992.1 GT3 4.0L / 2021-24
Porsche 992.1 GT3 RS 4.0L 2022-24
Porsche 992.2 GT3 2025>>
What This Product Does
The central fin is designed to act as a vertical aerodynamic stabiliser and manage airflow travelling towards the rear wing. Its see-through mounting panel addresses the restricted rearward visibility normally associated with a solid motorsport-style panel.
Functions
- Guides airflow rearwards along the roofline
- Provides a vertical stabilising surface
- Retains rearward visibility through two transparent panels
- Coordinates with the vehicle’s rear wing and optional EVO-X roof fins
- Adds a competition-inspired exterior detail
Technical Details
- Manufactured from lightweight dry carbon fibre
- High-gloss exposed carbon finish
- Carbon weave intended to coordinate with Weissach Package components
- Includes one central shark fin with a see-through mounting plate
- Additional central and side roof fins are separate components and are not included
- Manufacturer-listed applications include Porsche 992 GT3 RS and 992.1/992.2 GT3
Symptoms of Fault
- Cracks or delamination in the carbon component
- Loose or damaged mounting points
- Movement, vibration or rattling while driving
- Lifting edges or uneven alignment against the roof
- Scratching, clouding or damage to the transparent panels
- Contact with surrounding bodywork or painted surfaces
Why Replacement Matters
A damaged or poorly secured aerodynamic component can create unwanted movement, noise and inconsistent panel alignment. Correct installation is important for maintaining stable mounting, suitable clearance and an even exterior finish. Inspect the mounting surface and associated fixings before fitting, and use professional installation where required.
FAQs
