What This Product Does
This frame forms the central retaining structure for the applicable front bumper assembly. It secures and positions the associated bumper grille or trim while using the original factory mounting arrangement.
Functions
- Supports the centre section of the front bumper assembly
- Retains the associated grille or bumper trim
- Helps keep adjoining components correctly positioned
- Provides factory-style mounting points for the specified application
Technical Details
- Part number: 981505569061E0
- Manufacturer: Genuine Porsche
- Component position: Centre front bumper
- Colour: Black
- Configuration: Without centre radiator
Symptoms of Fault
- Central bumper trim feels loose or moves in its mounting
- Uneven gaps appear around the grille or adjoining trim
- Rattling is heard from the front bumper area
- Mounting points are cracked, distorted or missing
- Related trim cannot be secured correctly after bumper removal or impact damage
Why Replacement Matters
A broken or distorted frame may leave the connected bumper components inadequately supported or incorrectly aligned. Renewing the frame restores the intended mounting layout and helps the surrounding trim sit securely and evenly.
FAQs
- Is this the complete front bumper? No. It is the centre retaining frame used within the bumper assembly; adjacent trim, fixings and bumper components are separate unless stated otherwise.
- How should fitment be checked? Confirm part number 981505569061E0 and the listed PR codes against the vehicle specification. A VIN-based parts check is recommended where equipment variations apply.
