Until now, 944 owners have been forced to fabricate their own "regulation" bumper mounted tow hook to be legal for many sanctioning racing series or other organized track events. Rennline's new 944 race tow hook has a 2" diameter opening (required) and can be easily accessed without crawling under the rear of the car, but does not protrude far enough to bruise your shins if you walk too close to the vehicle while in the paddock. Rennline's race tow hook mounts directly to the rear bumper shock using the factory bumper shock bolts and can be installed in minutes. Installation can be completed without removing your factory rear bumper or factory valance. Each tow hook is manufactured from durable steel, powder coated red, and comes with (2) "tow" stickers. Rennline's tie-down brackets are made of steel and powder coated red. These brackets are available in three variations, straight, 90 degree and 45 degree to allow you to install these brackets in many different locations based on your specific needs. Mounting hole measures 16.5mm. This is the same dimension as most shock mount bolts and several other suspension components.

Rennline's tie-down brackets are made of either stainless steel, or mild steel in red powdercoat. These brackets are available in four variations: straight, 90°, 66°, and 45° to allow you to install these brackets in many different locations based on your specific needs. Mounting hole measures 16.5mm. This is the same dimension as most shock mount bolts and several other suspension components.
The 66° tie downs are designed specifically for 996/997 with upgraded rear sway bars. GT2 and GT3 cars will also use the 66° tie down.
