Information
Rear suspension top mount.
Genuine Porsche Original Equipment (OE) upper shock absorber mount - also commonly referred to as a strut mount or suspension top mount. It is a factory-engineered suspension component that connects the top of the shock absorber/strut assembly to the vehicle body, providing support, alignment, and vibration isolation.
Sold each, 2 required per vehicle.
Fits:
Porsche 971.1 Panamera 2017 - 2020
Porsche 971.2 Panamera 2021 - 2024
* cars with option code: 1BH - Suspension/dampers, standard 2 PASM
* cars with option code: 1BK - Air suspension with levelling system and height adjustment (PASM)
Diagram ref no 4
It serves as the interface between the shock absorber and the chassis, sealing the suspension assembly and properly locating the strut within the wheel arch. The mount features precision-engineered surfaces and internal damping materials (where applicable) that help absorb road shock, isolate noise, and maintain suspension geometry.
The upper shock absorber mount has a dual role: it supports the shock absorber assembly at the chassis connection point and provides a cushioning interface that reduces noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) transmitted into the passenger compartment. This helps maintain precise suspension geometry and consistent handling characteristics.
Over time, suspension mounts can deteriorate due to repetitive loading, heat, moisture, and age. A worn or degraded upper mount can lead to symptoms such as squeaks, clunks, poor handling, uneven tyre wear, or compromised steering feel. Replacing a worn mount with a Genuine Porsche OE component restores the intended ride quality, noise isolation, and suspension precision that Porsche engineered into the vehicle from new.
When to replace:
• Noticeable squeaks or clunking from suspension under load
• Vibration or harshness transmitted into the cabin
• After shock absorber/strut replacement or suspension overhaul
• Visible deterioration, cracking, or compression of mount material
• Uneven tyre wear or steering alignment issues

Information
Rear suspension top mount.
OE Match upper shock absorber mount designed to replicate the original Porsche factory strut mount used on Porsche Panamera (971 series). It serves as the connection point between the shock absorber/strut assembly and the vehicle body, providing mechanical support and vibration isolation.
Sold each, 2 required per vehicle.
Fits:
Porsche 971.1 Panamera 2017 - 2020
Porsche 971.2 Panamera 2021 - 2024
* cars with option code: 1BH - Suspension/dampers, standard 2 PASM
* cars with option code: 1BK - Air suspension with levelling system and height adjustment (PASM)
Diagram ref no 4
The OE Match shock absorber mount provides mechanical support and isolation for the suspension strut. It holds the upper end of the shock absorber in place, absorbs road shock, and helps reduce noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) transmitted to the vehicle body and cabin. It also ensures that the suspension geometry remains consistent under load, preserving predictable handling and ride comfort.
Upper shock mounts endure continuous load, heat cycles, and vibration. Over time, the rubber and bonding materials in a mount can stiffen, crack, separate, or deteriorate. Symptoms of a worn shock mount include clunking, vibration, harsh ride quality, uneven tyre wear, and compromised suspension control. Replacing the mount with an OE Match component restores proper support and NVH isolation, which helps prolong the life of the shock absorbers themselves and preserves the original driving dynamics.
