Hose 4 x 10mm – Throttle Body to Vacuum Limiter
High-quality 4x10mm hose designed for Porsche 911 models from 1974 to 1977, connecting the throttle body to the vacuum limiter.
This hose plays a crucial role in maintaining correct vacuum
regulation within the intake system. By linking the throttle body to the vacuum
limiter, it ensures stable pressure control, supporting smooth engine operation
and consistent performance.
Fits:

Supplied per metre, this hose allows precise replacement and routing, making it ideal for maintenance, repair, or restoration of classic Porsche 911 intake and vacuum systems. Manufactured to OEM specifications for durability and reliability.
Key Features
• 4mm internal diameter, 10mm outer diameter
• Suitable for Porsche 911 (1974–1977)
• Part number 99918171540
• Connects throttle body to vacuum limiter
• Designed for intake and vacuum system use
• Sold per metre for custom length applications
• Resistant to heat and engine bay conditions
• Flexible and durable construction
• OEM-style fit and performance
Function and Purpose
This hose is a key component of the intake vacuum system.
It helps to:
• Connect throttle body to vacuum limiter
• Regulate vacuum pressure within the intake system
• Maintain stable engine performance
• Prevent vacuum leaks affecting drivability
• Support efficient combustion and airflow
Why Replace Vacuum Hoses
Over time, vacuum hoses degrade due to heat and ageing.
Common issues include:
• Cracking or splitting
• Vacuum leaks reducing engine efficiency
• Hardening and reduced flexibility
• Poor engine response and instability
Replacing worn hoses restores proper vacuum control and engine performance.

This OE Match breather hose is a replacement crankcase ventilation hose used on Porsche 955 Cayenne S models. It connects the crankcase breather system to the intake manifold, helping route crankcase vapours back into the engine intake system.
Fits:
Porsche 955 Cayenne S 4.5L 2003 - 2006
Diagram ref no 5
The breather hose forms part of the engine crankcase ventilation system. It allows oil vapour and blow-by gases from the crankcase to be drawn into the intake manifold, where they can be burned through the combustion process. This helps reduce pressure inside the crankcase and supports cleaner, more efficient engine operation.
This hose fits in the engine bay, connecting the crankcase ventilation system to the intake manifold. It is part of the breather / PCV system and is positioned around the upper engine intake area, depending on engine layout.
Functions
• Connects the crankcase breather system to the intake manifold
• Helps route crankcase vapours back into the engine intake
• Supports correct crankcase pressure regulation
• Helps reduce oil vapour build-up inside the engine
• Assists emissions control by recirculating blow-by gases
• Helps maintain stable idle and smooth engine running
• OE Match replacement for cracked, brittle, or leaking original hoses
Why Replace This Part?
Breather hoses are exposed to heat, oil vapour, vacuum pressure, and age-related hardening. Over time, the hose can crack, split, collapse, soften, or leak, which may cause vacuum leaks, rough idle, poor running, oil mist around the engine, or crankcase ventilation faults. Replacing a worn breather hose helps restore correct ventilation and prevents unmetered air from entering the intake system.
When to replace:
• The hose is cracked, brittle, split, collapsed, or oil-soaked
• There is a vacuum leak or hissing noise near the intake manifold
• The engine has rough idle, hesitation, or poor running
• Oil vapour, residue, or mist is visible around the breather connection
• Crankcase ventilation or emissions-related faults are present
• The intake manifold or breather system is being serviced
• As preventative maintenance on ageing original breather pipework
