100% Synthetic Racing Brake Fluid – DOT 4
FEATURES:

- Application: Ideal for hydraulic brake and clutch systems.
TYPE OF USE: Suitable for all hydraulic brake and clutch systems requiring non-silicone synthetic fluid. Specifically engineered to withstand the extreme temperatures generated by racing carbon and ceramic brakes while minimizing air intake for brake cooling. Also compatible with conventional brakes using steel discs and standard hydraulic clutch actuators. Exceeds the requirements of DOT 3 and DOT 5.1 standards, except for viscosity at -40°C / -40°F.

- Standards: FMVSS 116 DOT 4, SAE J1703 / J1704
- Thermal Resistance and Stability:
- The MOTUL RBF 660 FACTORY LINE offers an exceptionally high dry boiling point of 325°C / 617°F, surpassing the standards for DOT 5.1 non-silicone (260°C min / 500°F min) and DOT 4 (230°C min / 446°F min), ensuring reliable braking performance even in extreme conditions.
- Aerodynamic Efficiency:
- This brake fluid enhances aerodynamic performance by reducing the need for brake cooling air scoops.
- Wet Performance:
- With a wet boiling point of 205°C / 401°F, this fluid outperforms the DOT 5.1 non-silicone (180°C min / 356°F min) and DOT 4 (155°C min / 311°F min) standards, maintaining effective braking in wet conditions. DOT 3, DOT 4, and DOT 5.1 fluids absorb moisture from the air, lowering their boiling points and increasing the risk of vapor lock. The wet boiling point is measured after adding 3% water, simulating the fluid's condition after one year of use.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
- Drain Interval: Follow manufacturer recommendations and adjust based on usage.
- Mixing: Avoid mixing with lower-performance polyglycol-based brake fluids. Do not mix with silicone-based (DOT 5) or mineral-based fluids (LHM).
- Storage: Store brake fluid in its original, tightly sealed container to prevent moisture absorption.
- Handling: This product is chemically aggressive. In case of contact with skin, paint, or varnish, rinse thoroughly with water.

RH665 is not the same as other Racing Brake Fluids, it has been specially formulated for racing applications. RH665 has the highest guaranteed minimum Dry Boiling Point (325°C) of any DOT 4 Brake Fluid. Typical values for RH665 are invariably higher than 325°C. A similar situation applies to Wet Boiling Point, RH665 is guaranteed to be above 195°C.
