- Porsche 957 Cayenne Turbo / Turbo S 4.8L 2007-10
The Fabspeed Performance Package is a comprehensive intake, exhaust and ECU upgrade designed for the 2008–2010 Porsche 957 Cayenne Turbo and Turbo S.
Kit Contents:
- Maxflo Performance Mufflers (Incl. Deluxe Quad Style Tips) - Polished Stainless Steel
- Catalytic Converters
- Secondary Catbypass Pipes
- BMC F1 Air Filter
- ECU Tuning Upgrade
Fits:
- Porsche 957 Cayenne Turbo / Turbo S 4.8L 2008-10
Rather than upgrading a single component, this package addresses several areas that influence the performance of the twin-turbocharged V8. It combines Maxflo Performance Mufflers with Deluxe Quad Style Tips, 200-cell HJS Sport Catalytic Converters, Secondary Cat Bypass Pipes, BMC F1 Replacement Air Filters and Fabspeed ECU tuning.
Together, these components are designed to reduce intake and exhaust restriction, improve engine breathing, reduce vehicle weight, sharpen response and produce a deeper, more aggressive V8 exhaust note.
Fabspeed manufactures the exhaust components from 14–16 gauge mirror-polished T304 stainless steel and lists an approximate 60 lb weight reduction compared with the corresponding factory components.
What This Product Does:
The package improves the way the Cayenne Turbo's engine draws in air, expels exhaust gases and manages engine performance.
The individual components work together:
- BMC F1 Air Filters improve intake airflow while maintaining filtration.
- 200-Cell HJS Sport Catalytic Converters provide a less restrictive catalyst arrangement than the factory system.
- Secondary Cat Bypass Pipes remove the secondary catalytic converters to further reduce exhaust restriction.
- Maxflo Performance Mufflers improve rear exhaust flow and provide a deeper performance exhaust note.
- Fabspeed ECU Tuning recalibrates the engine-management system to optimise performance for the vehicle and its modifications.
The result is a coordinated performance package rather than a collection of unrelated upgrades.
Performance:
The current Fabspeed product listing shows:
Horsepower: TBD
Torque: TBD
Weight Reduction: Approx. 60 lb
Because Fabspeed does not currently publish package-specific horsepower or torque figures for this listing, no numerical power increase should be assumed.
Actual performance will depend on factors including:
- Engine condition
- Turbocharger condition
- Fuel quality
- ECU calibration
- Intake condition
- Exhaust configuration
- Additional modifications
- Ambient conditions
- Testing equipment and methodology
Why Upgrading Matters:
The factory components do not need to be worn or faulty before installing this package.
It is primarily a comprehensive performance upgrade.
Reasons for upgrading include:
- Maxflo Performance Mufflers
- 200-cell HJS Sport Catalytic Converters
- Secondary Cat Bypass Pipes
- BMC F1 Replacement Air Filters
- Fabspeed ECU performance tuning
- MyGenius handheld tuning device
- T304 stainless-steel exhaust construction
- Approx. 60 lb manufacturer-listed weight reduction
- Reduced intake restriction
- Reduced exhaust restriction
- Improved engine breathing
- Increased performance potential
- Sharper throttle response
- Deeper V8 exhaust sound
- Deluxe Quad Style exhaust tips
