The catalyst-bypass design allows exhaust gases to leave the turbochargers more efficiently, helping to reduce back pressure and deliver a stronger, more direct exhaust character. This can also support sharper turbo response, particularly when combined with suitable engine-management calibration and a compatible performance exhaust system.
Each downpipe incorporates a resonator to help control harsh exhaust frequencies and reduce unwanted cabin drone. The resonator sections are wrapped in a heat-resistant shield, helping to limit radiant heat around the exhaust system and protect nearby engine-bay and underbody components.
Manufactured from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, the downpipes are designed to withstand high exhaust temperatures, moisture and repeated heat cycles. Vehicle-specific pipe routing and connections provide a precise installation on compatible Porsche Macan applications.
