Diagram reference number: 1
What This Product Does
The bracket provides a structural connection within the engine mounting arrangement. It is the yoke support component, rather than a rubber mounting bearing; vibration isolation should not be attributed to the bracket itself.
Functions
- Forms part of the engine support assembly.
- Provides attachment points within the mounting arrangement.
- Replaces a damaged or deteriorated cradle bracket during repair or restoration.
Technical Details
- Part reference: 93011501400.
- Brand: OE Match.
- Component identification: bracket, item 1.
- Diagram application: engine suspension 911 1978-83, TURBO.
- Supplied engine specification: 3.3L.
Symptoms of Fault
Corrosion, cracking or distortion of the bracket warrants inspection. Knocking, vibration or excessive drivetrain movement can also involve the mounting bearings or associated fixings, so these symptoms alone do not establish that the bracket needs replacement.
Why Replacement Matters
A damaged bracket should be assessed as part of the complete engine support assembly. Inspect adjoining mounts and fasteners during the repair rather than assuming that replacing the bracket will resolve every movement or vibration concern. OE Match focuses on Porsche-specific replacement applications, with original references and vehicle details used to identify the appropriate component.
FAQs
Is this a rubber engine mount?
No. The diagram identifies this component as the structural bracket; the mounting bearing is a separate item in the assembly.

Designed for performance-focused road and track applications, these mounts help minimise drivetrain flex during acceleration, braking and cornering. The increased stiffness improves vehicle response, gear shift precision and overall driving feel while retaining the reliability expected from OE-style components.
What This Product Does:
- Supports and secures the engine and gearbox assembly.
- Reduces excessive drivetrain movement under load.
- Provides greater drivetrain stability than standard mounts.
- Improves gear shift precision and drivetrain response.
- Helps maintain correct engine and transmission alignment.
- Reduces unwanted movement during acceleration, braking and cornering.
- Enhances vehicle handling characteristics and driver feedback.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Excessive engine or transmission movement.
- Clunking or knocking noises during gear changes.
- Increased drivetrain vibration.
- Harsh engagement when accelerating or decelerating.
- Misaligned or imprecise gear shifting.
- Sagging engine or gearbox position.
- Visible cracking, splitting or collapse of the rubber mount.
- Increased stress on exhaust, driveline and transmission components.
Why Replacement Matters:
- Engine and gearbox mounts are subjected to constant vibration, drivetrain torque, heat and road shock. Over time, the rubber can harden, crack, compress or separate from the mount structure, reducing its ability to support the drivetrain effectively.
- Worn mounts allow excessive engine and gearbox movement, which can negatively affect gear selection, handling characteristics and overall driving refinement. Excessive drivetrain movement may also place additional strain on exhaust systems, drive shafts, couplings and surrounding components.
