Accessory Drive Belt Kit (Serpentine Belt Kit)
This kit includes everything needed to replace the primary wear components of your accessory drive system. Each kit comes complete with a new serpentine belt, drive belt tensioner shock, tensioner pulley, two idler pulleys, and all required hardware
Fits:
Porsche 95B.1 Macan S Petrol 3.0L V6 340Bhp 2014-18
Porsche 95B.1 Macan GTS Petrol 3.0L V6 360Bhp 2014-18
Porsche 95B.1 Macan Turbo 3.6L V6 400Bhp 2014-18
The accessory drive belt—commonly known as a serpentine belt—delivers power from the engine’s crankshaft to essential components such as the alternator, water pump, power steering pump, and air conditioning compressor. It drives these systems through a network of pulleys synchronized by the belt’s rotation.
Regular inspection of the belt is important. Look for cracking, fraying, glazing, or other signs of wear. Most manufacturers recommend replacing the belt every 50,000 to 100,000 miles. Proper belt tension is equally critical, so it’s advisable to inspect the belt tensioner and idler pulleys any time the belt is serviced.

Symptoms of Accessory Drive Belt Kit Failure
- Wear and Tear: Cracking, glazing, or fraying can cause the belt to slip.
- Pulley Misalignment: Misaligned pulleys lead to uneven wear and unwanted noise.
- Improper Tension: Too much or too little tension can result in belt slip or premature component failure.
- Contamination: Oil, coolant, or debris can weaken the belt material.
- Excessive Noise: A squealing sound, especially at start-up, often indicates belt or tensioner issues.

Information
Drive belt, for cars with air conditioning
The Genuine Porsche 99919237951 drive belt is an OE Poly-V / serpentine belt for selected Porsche 996 Turbo and 997 Turbo models with air conditioning. It drives the engine auxiliary components according to the A/C belt routing, helping maintain reliable charging, air-conditioning and accessory system operation. Ideal for routine service or replacing a cracked, noisy, slipping or worn original belt.
Fits:
Porsche 996 Turbo 2000-2005 M96.70 Engine
Porsche 996 GT2 M96.70 Engine
Porsche 997 Turbo 2007-2009 3.6L M97.70 Engine
Porsche 997 GT2 RS 2011 M97.70 Engine
Diagram ref no 9
This belt is specifically listed for Porsche 996 Turbo / 997 Turbo applications with air conditioning. It replaces earlier Porsche part number 99919237950.
What This Part Does / Functions
• Transfers drive from the engine pulley system to auxiliary components
• Supports operation of the alternator and other belt-driven accessories
• Works with the air-conditioning compressor drive layout on cars with A/C
• Helps maintain correct accessory belt routing and pulley engagement
• Supports reliable charging and auxiliary system operation
• Helps prevent belt slip, squeal and accessory-drive faults when correctly fitted
• Provides the correct OE Porsche belt profile, length and fitment
• Replaces a cracked, worn, stretched, glazed or noisy original belt.
Why Replace This Part?
The drive belt is a service wear item and is exposed to heat, tension, pulley contact and engine movement. Over time, it can crack, glaze, stretch, fray or lose grip on the pulleys. A worn belt may cause squealing, slipping, charging issues, air-conditioning faults or complete accessory-drive failure. Replacing it with a Genuine Porsche OE drive belt helps restore reliable accessory drive operation and ensures the correct belt specification is used for Turbo models with air conditioning.
When to Replace This Part
• f the belt is cracked, glazed, frayed or visibly worn
• If the belt squeals, slips or makes noise during engine operation
• If the belt has stretched or no longer runs correctly
• During scheduled service or preventative belt replacement
• When replacing the belt tensioner, idler pulleys, alternator or A/C compressor
• If the belt has been contaminated by oil, coolant or debris
• If charging or air-conditioning faults are linked to belt slip
• When restoring the engine bay with correct OE Porsche service parts.
Where It Fits on the Car
This belt fits on the engine accessory drive system. It routes around the relevant pulleys, tensioner and driven components according to the factory air-conditioning belt layout.
