In OE Match form, it’s manufactured to replicate the OE housing shape, mounting points, and electrical characteristics so it installs as a direct replacement when the original pump becomes noisy, weak, or fails.
On cold start, the pump pushes fresh air into the exhaust stream (via the SAI system valves and pipework). This helps the catalytic converters warm up faster and reduces cold-start emissions - supporting smooth compliance with the vehicle’s emissions strategy.
