No matter where the adventure takes you. The robust roof basket with integrated LED headlights ensures more storage space and better visibility on every off-road tour.
The lightweight yet extremely stable aluminum frame structure is powder-coated in matte black and features a matte black painted front trim. The floor of the roof basket consists of 5 lengthwise profiles. Loads carried can be secured individually to them – for example, using the 2 lashing belts and 4 belt holders provided. Designed and tested in the Weissach development centre, the roof basketcarry 42 kg - ideal storage for the most important rally equipment.
The integrated auxiliary headlights can be switched on if the rally continues into the night. Two powerful LED lamps with an overall light intensity of 2,600 lumens are located in the front cover of the roof basket. They are conveniently controlled from the passenger compartment via a button in the roof console and will illuminate any dark track perfectly. On public roads, the auxiliary headlights must be switched off and covered with the two white caps. Their use is not permitted there. The caps can optionally be adorned with the included OSRAM logo stickers.
Installing the roof basket is very simple. First, it is fixed firmly to the cross beams of the roof transport system base carrier. Then the magnetic plug only needs to be connected to the standard roof socket – the LED auxiliary headlights are supplied with power and ready for use.
A wide range of Porsche Tequipment and lifestyle accessories are available for the roof basket. These include a petrol and a water canister, canister holders, recovery boards and board holders, a water-repellent outdoor travel bag, belt holders and additional lashing belts.
