The 2008 and up Porsche Cayenne is a big change over previous models. The new Cayenne S has switched from a Bosch ECU to now running a Siemens SDI system. The new 4.8L engine in the Cayenne S is much more powerful then the previous generation. With stock 385hp at the crank, Softronic has developed tuning to give the Cayenne S power like its bigger brother, the GTS. Another 20 horsepower and 30ft/lbs of torque to the crank is added. Softronic has spent time engineering and developing software for the new FSI cars and is one of the only tuners in the world that can offer an ECU flash via the OBDII port.
GTS Stock Power - 385HP and 369ft/lbs
Tuned Power - 420HP and 390ft/lbs
Softronic flashes the Cayenne S through the OBDII port of the car. With their Flasher Client software, they are reading a full 1mb of the file to completely tune the ECU. Other companies claim to be able to do this, but are only read 128kb and making global changes. The ECU flash will alter your fuel, and timing maps to give you a very dominating increase of power over stock. For those worried about check engine lights, there are none! Once the car is flashed, the low end torque and throttle response will be much improved. You will notice the Cayenne pulling harder to redline. The overall improvement of drivability makes the Cayenne S even more fun then it was originally. Since warranty is always a concern, Softronic also provides you with your original file.
