BBI Autosport is proud to present our new highly anticipated 981 GT4 StreetCup Harness Bar.
Issues such as harness angle, seat travel, and engine compartment access have all been carefully evaluated and addressed. With our sensible design approach, the bar mounts to the frame structure in the cabin and rear strut towers to provide the strongest mounting points and maximum protection.
For superior strength and rigidity, high-strength 4130 chrome moly steel tubing is used throughout and all joints are meticulously TIG welded by hand. Bolt-in installation is accomplished by using Inner Diameter Tube Clamps that are CNC turned and milled for a precise fit. These unique joints allow us to eliminate the more traditional slip fit tubes with an unsightly through-bolt and nut.
The final result is a bar that is clean & functional.
Please note that roll bars have a turnaround time of approx 2 - 3 weeks.

The RSS "950/30 - Light Weight" Series 2pt Harness Bar was designed for the "Weight conscious Porsche owners who know that ounces equal pounds and pounds reduce performance."
Engineered to maximize function, add rigidity, minimize added weight (+7 lbs), offer generous occupant seating space and integrate with interior. The Bar is a safety inspired design which secures safety harnesses directly behind the occupants shoulders. One piece bar design that mounts to the chassis cross member and does not effect rearward visibility. The Bar allows generous seat base travel with standard, OE bucket or racing bucket seats. Retains use of factory seat belts. Bolt-In installation, carpet, panel and tab trimming is required, Professional installation is recommended for a factory installed look. Designed, constructed and powder coated at RSS utilizing 1.50 inch DOM with precision cut reinforced mounting plates. Patent Pending Design.

Unique octagon shape monocoque structure
30+ layers of aerospace-grade dry carbon fiber sheets are used to form this unique octagon-shaped monocoque structure, resulting in the strongest & lightest roll cage in the market for your GT4 RS.
Proprietary SR-orientation roll-wrap method
Based on the CAE stress analysis, 29 layers of uni-directional carbon fiber cloths are laid in a proprietary direction during the manufacturing process against the impact force direction to achieve optimal strength and rigidity at specific angles.
Exceeds the FIA safety standard for race cars
Our roll cage surpasses the latest FIA 2023 Safety Requirements (2023 Appendix J – Article 253) for roll cages in race cars, which mandates withstanding 12,311 lbs of pressure to protect racers in serious crashes.
Built-in FIA safety standard harness bar
In addition to the roll cage, we have a built-in FIA Safety Standard harness bar positioned at the ideal height for the safest angle (0° to -20°) required by the FIA to use a 6-point racing harness.
