Under extreme conditions, such as road racing and autocross, negative camber is required to keep as much of the tire's contact patch on the road as possible. Stock suspension mounts will not allow you to achieve the necessary amount of negative camber required for this type of performance driving. Rennline's sealed camber plates incorporate FK motorsports spherical bearings and eliminate the indistinct feedback associated with factory rubber mounts.
Fits
Porsche 996 Carrera 2 (2 wheel drive)
Note: When using factory non adjustable struts with factory spring seats, weather seal must be remove

These shock mounts use high strength hardened steel spherical bearings and are direct replacements for the factory mounts. The Teflon lined spherical bearings used in our kit are maintenance-free and require no supplemental lubrication. Included seals prevent contamination from water or grime, thus extending bearing life.
Porsche used spherical bearings on the 997 GT3 and Cup Cars. We went one step further and added larger bearings and weather-seals to ensure longevity.
Fully Weather Sealed
We've designed in weather seals to keep dirt out and extend product life. This is the only shock mount suitable for street or extended track use. Dirt and water contaminate ordinary products and accelerate wear.
Improved Shock / Coilover Performance
The spherical bearings pivot freely and eliminate the deflection that is inherent with the factory rubber bushings. This is important because:
The factory rubber acts as a spring in series with the shock. This rubber spring-action is completely un-damped and reduces the shocks ability to control the tire contact patch. The spherical bearing allows the damper to do its job and control the contact patch.
These will work with stock springs and coilovers.

Keep optimal rear suspension geometry at the track and during spirited street driving with Rennline Sealed Rear Strut Mounts. Factory bushings are designed to be compliant in an attempt to make the car more marketable, but if you are here you already know they could have created a more performance oriented design. Our strut mounts feature Teflon-lined spherical bearings mounted in precision machined housings to ensure a perfect fit and unbeatable quality. Unlike almost every other unit on the market, Rennline mounts include a dust boot to completely seal the bearing from stones and road grime and make our mounts a cut above the rest.
Will not work with factory suspension setup. For aftermarket coilovers only. Designed for use with conical style spring hats. If you have the cup style, see our conical style below which you will need.

Cartridges install easily to replace rubber bushings for 996/997/Boxster/Cayman. An excellent alternative to our QuickChange Camber Plates for cars that don't need more camber but still want the handling precision of a spherical bearing monoball. Spherical bearings improve performance. The spherical bearings pivot freely, but eliminate the deflection that is inherent with the factory rubber bushings.
Eliminating Deflection Is Important For Two Reasons
• The factory rubber acts as a spring in series with the strut. This rubber spring-action is completely un-damped and reduces the struts ability to control the tire contact patch. The spherical bearing allows the strut damper to do its job and control the contact patch.
• The factory rubber deflects sideways under cornering loads, causing loss of camber just when you need it most. Our spherical bearings eliminate the deflection, maintaining stable and predictable camber.

- Existing parts are worn, cracked, scuffed, faded, corroded or missing
- You notice looseness, vibration or an untidy appearance around the area they sit in
- You have had related work carried out and want everything to look and feel consistent
