992.1 Turbo Cabriolet 3.8L 2020-24

While all Porsche 911s are now turbocharged, the turbo Cabriolet model stands out. Equipped with a twin-turbo 3.8ltr flat-six engine, it offers substantial power and a significant cost savings compared to the turbo S. Though it may have fewer features than its higher-end counterpart, the turbo Cabriolet is far from inferior.

With an impressive output of 573hp, a 32hp increase over its predecessor, the new 911 turbo Cabriolet accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds, making it 0.2 seconds faster than before. Handling is akin to a coupe, with Porsche Torque Management all-wheel drive ensuring excellent cornering and a top speed of 199 mph. Porsche emphasises that the new turbo Cabriolet matches or even exceeds the packaging, performance, and technology of the previous 911 turbo S. While the only available transmission option is an 8-speed PDK dual-clutch, nearly all technology packages from the turbo S are available as options for the turbo Cabriolet, allowing buyers to customise their vehicles to their preferences.

The 992 turbo Cabriolet features an upgraded infotainment system with a 10.9-inch touchscreen interface, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto compatibility. Porsche has also extended its connected services to three years before transitioning to a subscription model, offering features like natural voice commands, online map updates, and satellite radio trials.
