The 992, 911 Speedster blends the essence of a driver-centric vehicle with everyday usability, integrating motorsport technology. Derived from the 911 R and 911 GT3, it boasts a high-revving 375 kW (510 PS) 4.0ltr naturally aspirated boxer engine for a thrilling auditory experience. This limited edition model pays homage to Porsche's rich heritage, with only 1,948 units slated for production starting mid-2019 at the Porsche plant in Zuffenhausen, Germany.

A concept version of the 911 Speedster debuted in 2018, followed by public showcases at prestigious events like the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the Paris Motor Show. It retains iconic Speedster elements, notably the double-bubble streamliners on the convertible top compartment lid, a hallmark since the 911 Speedster of 1988. The fabric convertible top, effortlessly operated, complements the car's athletic profile, while the lightweight carbon fiber components enhance performance and agility.

The interior features black leather elements, carbon-fiber composite full-bucket seats, and a shortened gear lever for a sporty ambiance.
