HOW IS A BMC FILTER REGENERATED?
We recommend using original BMC kits only, as other products may not be effective or may damage the filter permanently, thus invalidating the warranty.
We recommend regenerating the filter (washing + oil application) every 20.000 – 25.000 km to ensure best performance and long service life.
This value is a rough estimate and can vary based on the climatic conditions and the ground on which the vehicle is used (sand, dirt roads, etc.).
The various steps to be carried out in order to regenerate the filtering element are indicated in the instructions contained in the regeneration kit.

Direct bolt-on replacement for the factory air box providing increased airflow and power. Made from anodized gold T6061 Aluminum. The gold color mimics the yellow zinc plated OEM hardware that Porsche used in all their air-cooled cars from this era.
The design of this airbox cover was inspired by factory Porsche Cup Cars. After much on-track testing done by Fabspeed’s Owner on his 993 RSR, he found that using this open filter design netted the best power results, with more flow and cool intake temps.

The Porsche part is ugly roto-formed cheap plastic with parting lines whereas accurate replica is carbon fiber.
Saves 8 to 9lbs about 4Kg from the rear of all 964's and 993's. Will not work on C2 Turbos/965 cars.
