Designed specifically for the right-hand door, the glass forms the main movable side window and works with the window regulator, guides, seals and door mechanism to provide clear visibility, weather protection and secure closure of the passenger compartment.
On the Boxster 986's frameless door design, correct glass shape and adjustment are particularly important. When the window is fully raised, the upper edge must align correctly with the convertible roof and surrounding weather seals to help prevent wind noise and water ingress.
The genuine Porsche glass provides the correct profile and dimensions for the original door and window mechanism, making it suitable for accident repair, restoration or replacement of damaged original glass.
