For vehicles with PCM, the front armrest storage compartment contains two connections: an AUX interface for connecting an external audio source and a USB port enabling you to connect a USB memory stick with MP3 music, an MP3 player, iPod® or iPhone®. Supports cover art display and playback of podcasts and audio books.
The USB stick, iPod® or iPhone® can be operated conveniently via PCM, the multifunction steering wheel or the voice control system. Through the USB connection you can copy up to 5,000 titles in MP3 format (40 GB) to the internal hard disk in the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) and play them from there, as well as download data from the electronic logbook.
