The AR-1 is the latest high performance tyre from Nankang which has been developed to be a faster and more refined track day tyre. This evolution of the AR-1 features a Kevlar lining in sizes 17" and larger. This Improves stability at speed and consistency.
Improved design for increased stability and consistency, ideal for demanding tracks such as the Nurburgring
Ideal track day tyre or ultimate performance road tyre
Used as a control tyre by the M3 Cup, 330 challenge and Classic VW Cup as well as a podium winning tyre in open tyre series such as CSCC New Millennium and 750MC Club Enduro, proving its on track capabilities
The AR-1 tyre is List 1B approved and is ideal for trackday drivers looking to improve their performance particularly in dry conditions.
Please note: When fitting, the yellow dot is the lightest part of the tyre so should be aligned with the valve stem on both aluminium and steel wheels to ensure that it is well balanced.
