TracTive Touring Line Plug & Play Electronic Suspension Kit – for cars with PASM
The TracTive Touring Line Plug & Play Electronic
Suspension Kit is a premium suspension upgrade designed to improve ride
comfort, handling and stability on Porsche 997.2 Carrera 4, Carrera 4S, Turbo
and Turbo S models.
Fits:
- Porsche 997 MKII Carrera C4 3.6L 2009-12
- Porsche 997 MKII Carrera C4S 3.8L 2009-12
- Porsche 997 MKII Turbo 2010-13
Featuring patented Dynamic Damping Adjustment (DDA) technology, Eibach performance springs and adjustable ride height, the system provides responsive suspension control while retaining compatibility with the factory Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) system.
Developed primarily for road driving with occasional track use, it offers an excellent balance between everyday comfort and precise handling.
What Is the TracTive Touring Line?
TracTive Touring Line is an advanced electronically adjustable suspension range developed for performance vehicles where ride comfort and handling are equally important.
Unlike conventional fixed-damping coilovers, Touring Line uses electronically controlled valves to regulate suspension damping rapidly.
Combined with matched Eibach springs, the system improves ride quality over uneven roads while maintaining stability during cornering, braking and acceleration.
Why Upgrade to TracTive Touring Line Suspension?
Although the Porsche 997.2 Carrera and Turbo models already
offer excellent handling, Touring Line provides several advantages:
- Improved Ride Comfort – More compliant damping over uneven roads and rough surfaces.
- Enhanced Handling – Greater suspension control during cornering, braking and acceleration.
- Faster Damping Response – Electronic valves respond rapidly to changing driving conditions.
- Factory PASM Integration – Retains the original Porsche suspension modes and controls.
- Adjustable Ride Height – Allows suspension height to be tailored to driving requirements.
- Improved Road & Track Balance – Comfortable for everyday driving while maintaining sporting performance.
- Matched Eibach Springs – Provide controlled suspension movement and improved support.
Dynamic Damping Adjustment (DDA) Technology
TracTive's patented DDA technology uses electronically controlled valves to regulate oil flow within each shock absorber.
With a response time of just 6–10 milliseconds between fully soft and fully firm, the system delivers exceptionally fast damping adjustment.
This helps maintain tyre contact, reduce unwanted body movement and improve suspension stability over changing road conditions.
Porsche PASM Plug & Play Compatibility
The Touring Line suspension connects directly to the original Porsche PASM system using factory electrical connectors.
The existing Porsche suspension modes remain operational, allowing drivers to control the upgraded dampers through the original vehicle controls.
No suspension cancellation modules, replacement electronic controllers or modifications to the original wiring harness are required.
Touring Line Road-Focused Suspension Design
Unlike the more track-focused TracTive Track Line, Touring Line prioritises everyday comfort and road handling.
The system combines electronically adjustable dampers, linear Eibach springs with helper springs and adjustable ride height.
This provides improved suspension control without the firmer characteristics associated with dedicated track-focused coilover systems.
