Rear stabilizer bar bushes play an important role in reducing body roll during cornering by keeping the anti-roll bar firmly mounted while allowing controlled movement. They also help absorb vibration and isolate road noise for improved ride comfort. Over time, these bushes can harden, crack, or deform due to age, heat, and constant suspension movement, leading to knocking noises over bumps, increased body roll, and reduced handling precision.
What This Product Does:
- Secure the rear stabilizer bar to the vehicle’s subframe/chassis
- Allow controlled movement of the bar while absorbing road shock
- Reduce body lean in corners for greater handling stability
- Minimise noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) transmitted to the cabin
- Help maintain proper suspension geometry and grip
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
Noise & Harshness
- Clunking or knocking noises from the rear suspension over bumps
- Rattling under acceleration or cornering
- Squeaks at low speeds
Handling Issues
- Noticeable body roll when cornering
- Reduced rear stability at higher speeds
- Loose or vague rear handling feedback
Wear Patterns
- Uneven or accelerated tyre wear
- Difficulty maintaining alignment
- Bushes that appear cracked, split, or deformed during inspection
Why Replacement Matters:
Restore Handling Precision
New bushes keep the stabilizer bar tightly mounted, improving cornering response and rear grip.
Improve Ride Comfort
Fresh bushes absorb vibration and isolate NVH better than old, hardened ones.
Eliminate Unwanted Noise
Replacing degraded bushes reduces clunking and suspension noises.
Protect Suspension Components
Correctly functioning bushes reduce stress on related links and mounts, preventing premature wear.

What stabilizer bar bush does:
• Cushions and secures the stabilizer (anti-roll) bar to the chassis, reducing vibration and road noise
• Helps maintain proper sway bar function by allowing the bar to pivot while minimizing unwanted movement
• Preserves handling precision and vehicle stability during cornering by preventing excessive body roll.
Over time, bushings can harden, crack, or deteriorate, which leads to play in the stabilizer bar mount, increased noise, sloppy handling, or even suspension misalignment. Replacing bushing restores correct stiffness, reduces unwanted vibration or sway, and helps preserve the original handling characteristics of the vehicle.
