Stabilizer bar bush set with brackets and bolts, for Front 24mm stabilizer bar.
This front stabilizer bar bush kit is designed for Porsche 996 and Porsche 986 Boxster models equipped with a 24mm front anti-roll bar. The kit includes two OE Match stabilizer bar bushes along with genuine Porsche clamps and bolts required for proper installation.
SET OF 2
Fits:
Porsche 986 Boxster S 3.2L 2000>>
* Cars with Sport-type chassis
Porsche 996 TARGA 2002>>
* Cars with Sport-type Chassis (M030) and Tiptronic Transmission (M249)
Diagram Ref No 2, 3 and 4.
Kit Includes
2 × OE Match Stabilizer Bar Bush – 99634379217 (for 24mm front anti-roll bar)
2 × Genuine Porsche Stabilizer Bar Bush Clamp – 99634377701
2 × Genuine Porsche Bolt – N10404306 (for stabilizer bar bush clamp)
This set provides all the essential parts needed to service both stabilizer bar bushes at the front axle.
The stabilizer bar bushes (also known as anti-roll bar bushings) are rubber mounting components that secure the front stabilizer bar to the vehicle chassis. They allow controlled movement of the anti-roll bar while isolating vibration and preventing metal-to-metal contact.
The stabilizer bar bushings keep the anti-roll bar securely mounted while allowing it to twist and flex during cornering. This helps the stabilizer bar reduce body roll and maintain balanced handling.
Replacing worn bushes restores the stabilizer bar’s ability to operate effectively, improving suspension responsiveness and reducing noise from the front suspension.
Function
• Stabilizer Bar Support: Secures the anti-roll bar to the chassis
• Vibration Isolation: Rubber bushings reduce noise and vibration
• Handling Stability: Helps maintain proper suspension performance during cornering
• Durability: OE-style construction designed for long service life
Stabilizer bar bushes are subject to constant movement, road debris and environmental exposure. Over time the rubber can harden, crack or wear, leading to excessive movement of the anti-roll bar. This can cause knocking noises, reduced handling precision and increased body roll during cornering. Replacing worn bushes restores proper stabilizer bar function and improves suspension stability.
Consider replacing the stabilizer bar bush kit if you notice:
• Clunking or knocking noises from the front suspension
• Excessive body roll during cornering
• Worn or cracked rubber bushings
• During suspension servicing or stabilizer bar replacement

Information
Lateral support clamp anti roll bar.
Anti-Roll Bars (ARB’s) play an important role in a vehicle’s suspension system, helping to reduce body roll by transferring cornering load from one side of a vehicle to the other.
Often mounted to the vehicle’s chassis with rubber bushes, these bushes ensure the bar works as intended. To prevent the anti-roll bar from moving laterally within its mounts when turning, OE manufacturers will either bond the bushes to the bar, add dead-stops to the bar itself, or rely solely on the clamping pressure of the rubber.
But what happens when those bushes wear and need to be replaced? Often anti-roll bars with bonded bushes come as a costly complete assembly, so the alternative is to fit a more cost-effective unbonded polyurethane replacement, like the many we offer.
In most cases, friction from the bush will prevent any side-to-side bar movement. Still, when turning aggressively or cornering at higher speeds, a laterally shifting anti-roll bar decreases the efficiency and effectiveness of the bar, changing the dynamics of your suspension system in unpredictable ways. It also poses the risk of the bar fouling on other areas of the vehicle or suspension system.

Rear stabilizer bar repair kit - Drop links, bushes, clamps and bolts
OE Match rear stabilizer bar repair kit for Porsche 996 Turbo models. This complete rear anti-roll bar service kit includes drop links, stabilizer bar bushes, mounting clamps, and bolts to help restore rear suspension control and reduce unwanted movement or knocking. This kit includes the key components commonly required when refreshing the rear stabilizer bar mounting and linkage system.
1 kit required per vehicle
Fits:
Porsche 996 Turbo 2000 - 2005
Diagram ref no 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6.
Kit Contents
2 x Rear stabilizer bar drop links — 99633306904
2 x Rear stabilizer bar bushes — 99633379227
4 x Stabilizer bar bush clamp bolts — 90037805501
2 x Stabilizer bar mounting clamps — 99633377701
The rear stabilizer bar helps reduce body roll during cornering by linking suspension movement across the rear axle. The drop links connect the stabilizer bar to the suspension, while the bushes and clamps secure the bar to the chassis. Replacing these components together helps restore correct rear anti-roll bar operation and rear axle stability.
Functions
• Replaces rear stabilizer bar drop links
• Replaces rear stabilizer bar mounting bushes
• Includes stabilizer bar clamps and fixing bolts
• Helps secure the rear anti-roll bar correctly
• Supports stable rear suspension and handling response
• Helps reduce rear suspension knocking, looseness, and vibration
• OE Match repair kit for Porsche 996 Turbo rear stabilizer bar service.
Why Replace This Kit?
Rear stabilizer bar components are exposed to road dirt, moisture, suspension load, vibration, heat, and age. Drop link joints can wear or develop play, bushes can crack or compress, clamps can corrode, and bolts can seize or become damaged during removal. Worn components may cause rear suspension knocking, increased body roll, vague handling, uneven response, or failed inspection. Replacing the drop links, bushes, clamps, and bolts together helps restore a secure and balanced rear anti-roll bar assembly.
When to Replace This Kit
• Rear suspension knocking or clunking is present
• Rear drop links are worn, loose, noisy, or damaged
• Stabilizer bar bushes are cracked, split, compressed, or missing
• Clamps or bolts are corroded, seized, or damaged
• Rear anti-roll bar service or suspension refresh is being carried out
• Handling feels vague or body roll has increased
• The vehicle is undergoing Porsche 996 Turbo suspension restoration.
Where it fits on the car
This kit fits on the rear stabilizer bar / rear anti-roll bar assembly on Porsche 996 Turbo models. It services the rear bar link and mounting points across the rear axle.
