Spark plug WR 7 DC+
Genuine OE Porsche spark plug, factory-engineered to deliver precise ignition performance, efficient combustion, and reliable operation. Direct replacement part maintaining original Porsche ignition standards.
Sold individually, 4, 6 or 8 required depending on engine type
Fits:
Porsche 911 3.2L 1984 - 89 *with catalyst
Porsche 924S 2.5L 1986 - 1988
Porsche 928S / 928S2 / 928S4 / 928GT 1983 - 1991

Porsche 912E 1976
Porsche 968 1992 - 1995 Coupe
Porsche engines rely on accurate ignition timing and stable combustion, especially under high compression and performance conditions. Using a genuine Porsche spark plug helps maintain smooth idle, crisp throttle response, optimal power delivery, and controlled emissions. It also ensures compatibility with Porsche engine management systems and ignition coils.
Designed as a direct replacement, this spark plug installs without modification and is suitable for routine servicing, diagnostics, or replacement of individual worn plugs while maintaining full OE integrity.
The spark plug generates a precisely timed electrical spark inside the combustion chamber to ignite the air-fuel mixture. This controlled ignition initiates combustion, allowing the engine to produce power efficiently and smoothly.
Function:
• Produces a consistent ignition spark for efficient combustion
• Supports smooth idle, responsive acceleration, and stable power output
• Helps maintain fuel efficiency and emission control
• Engineered to Porsche’s exact OE heat range and performance standards
• Designed for durability under high thermal and mechanical loads
Spark plugs naturally wear due to heat, combustion pressure, and electrical stress. A worn or incorrect spark plug can cause misfires, rough running, reduced power, increased fuel consumption, and higher emissions. Replacing worn plugs with a genuine Porsche OE spark plug ensures the ignition system continues to perform exactly as engineered, protecting engine performance, efficiency, and longevity.
When to replace:
• Engine misfires or uneven idle
• Reduced throttle response or loss of power
• Increased fuel consumption
• At Porsche-recommended service intervals
• During routine engine servicing or ignition maintenance
