Ensure your Porsche’s emissions system performs flawlessly with this OE Match secondary air injection solenoid valve (99660515500). Engineered to replicate the original Porsche design, this valve controls the vacuum signal that activates the secondary air injection system, allowing fresh air to enter the exhaust stream during cold starts, reducing emissions and supporting cleaner combustion.
The valve provides consistent vacuum control and quick response, restoring the proper function of the secondary air system and preventing check-engine light faults (often P0410/P0411)
Fits:
Porsche 996 turbo - 2000 to 2005
Porsche 996 GT3 Mk2 - 2004 to 2005
Porsche 955 Cayenne turbo - 2003 to 2006
Porsche 957 Cayenne turbo - 2007 to 2010
Porsche 958 Cayenne turbo V8 - 2010 to 2017
Porsche 970 Panamera turbo V8 - 2009 to 2016
Diagram ref no 44
Function:
This valve regulates vacuum flow to the secondary air injection pump and combination valves, enabling the system to inject fresh air into the exhaust manifold during engine warm-up. This helps burn uncombusted hydrocarbons, reducing emissions and ensuring smooth cold starts.
Why & When Replacement Matters
Why:
A failing solenoid valve can cause improper secondary air operation, resulting in rough cold starts, increased emissions, or illuminated check-engine lights.
When:
- If diagnostic codes P0410/P0411 (secondary air system malfunction) appear
- When air pump or combination valves are replaced
- During emissions or intake system service on high-mileage engines
Replacing with an OE Match solenoid valve restores proper air injection control, improves cold-start behaviour, and ensures compliance with emissions standards.
