What This Product Does:
- Replacing worn or heat-damaged rear brake discs
- Installing new rear brake pads for consistent friction and improved stopping power
- Restoring correct operation of the pad wear sensor system
- Reducing noise, vibration, and pedal pulsation
- Improving rear braking stability and balance
- Ensuring smooth, quiet, confident braking under all driving conditions
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Squealing, squeaking, or chirping from the rear brakes
- Grinding noises (pads worn down to metal)
- Brake pedal pulsation or vibration while braking
- Longer stopping distances
- Brake warning light triggered by the rear wear sensor
- Visible rotor damage (grooves, scoring, heat spots, blueing, cracks)
- Excessive brake dust or uneven pad wear
- Rear-end instability during braking
- Soft or inconsistent pedal feel
Why Replacement Matters:
- Rear brakes contribute significantly to overall braking balance and stability. Fresh discs and pads restore proper stopping performance.
- New rotors + pads return the braking system to its original Porsche feel — smooth, predictable, strong braking force.
- Worn pads can damage rotors; warped rotors can destroy new pads. Replacing everything together avoids cascading failures.
- Judder, squeal, and pedal vibration are largely caused by worn or uneven rear rotors — new rotors fix this.
- A fresh sensor keeps the dashboard warning system reliable and accurate.
- Replacing discs, pads, and sensors together avoids repeated labour and ensures even wear across both sides of the axle.
- Proper braking performance is essential for maintaining Porsche reliability and resale value.
