This Rubber Sealing Ring is an OE-style 80mm instrument gauge sealing ring designed for Porsche 911 models from 1969 to 1984. It fits around the clock and combination gauge housings within the dashboard, helping secure the instruments while reducing vibration and creating a clean seal between the gauge and dashboard trim.

Installed around the outer circumference of the dashboard instrument housing, the sealing ring acts as both a retaining cushion and protective gasket between the instrument body and dashboard opening. It helps secure the gauge within the dashboard while preventing rattling, vibration, and movement during driving.
Over time, original instrument seals can harden, flatten, or deteriorate due to age and temperature exposure. A worn sealing ring may allow the gauge to become loose within the dashboard, causing vibration, rattling, poor sealing, or cosmetic gaps around the instrument housing. Replacing ageing gauge seals restores secure gauge fitment and factory-style dashboard appearance.
