What This Product Does
A seat frame kit is an untrimmed foundation rather than a fully finished seat. It combines the supporting structure, suspension and shaped padding needed before upholstery is fitted. A professional vehicle trimmer can then apply leather, vinyl, cloth or corduroy to suit the car's interior, allowing the covering, stitching and piping to be specified as part of the restoration.
The Spa-Francorchamps design is based on the shape of period sports seats used during the late 1960s and early 1970s. Its square-tube frame, formed cushioning and separate headrest create a classic bucket-seat profile suitable for period-inspired road, restoration and competition-style interiors. Openings are incorporated for a suitable 5-point belt installation, with the supplied rosettes providing a tidy edge around the cut-outs.

Symptoms of Fault

- A complete untrimmed foundation is required for an interior rebuild
Why Replacement Matters
Starting with a complete frame and foam kit gives the trimmer a consistent structure on which to form and tension the upholstery. It avoids fitting new covers over tired padding or damaged supporting parts and allows the finished seat to be tailored to the vehicle's colour scheme and intended use. Final seat height, angle and fore-and-aft adjustment depend on the selected mounting brackets and runners. Seat mounts, belt anchorages and belt routing are safety-critical, so installation should use appropriate vehicle-specific hardware and be checked by a suitably experienced specialist.

The incredible Lightweight Bucket Seats from Porsche adorn many vehicles from the 918 to the GT3, GT2, GT4, T and many other models if so equipped.
We created this adjustable lumbar support for our vehicles out of necessity. Not only for the driver but the passenger who agreed to that 6 hour journey as our co-pilot. Typically these are quite comfortable seats but on longer journeys, a little lumbar support goes a long way to comfort the back of you and your co-pilot.
These install in a minute for each side, adjustable for height (lower back, small of back, etc)
The air bladder is adjustable via a simple and lightweight ball pump and once the desired support is obtained, the ball pump can be removed and the hose and check valve tucked into the seat for an invisible install. Or just keep the ball for adjustment at anytime.
