Constructed from high-quality rubber compound, the rear anti-roll bar bush plays a vital role in maintaining vehicle stability, cornering performance and ride refinement. Genuine Porsche components guarantee precise fitment, durability and the handling characteristics intended by the factory.
What This Product Does:
- Secures the rear anti-roll bar to the chassis mounting points.
- Allows controlled anti-roll bar movement during suspension travel.
- Reduces unwanted vibration and noise transmission.
- Helps the anti-roll bar effectively control body roll.
- Supports balanced suspension performance.
- Enhances vehicle stability and cornering confidence.
- Contributes to overall ride comfort and handling precision.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Knocking, creaking or squeaking noises from the rear suspension.
- Increased body roll during cornering.
- Reduced vehicle stability during directional changes.
- Excessive movement of the anti-roll bar within its mounting brackets.
- Diminished handling precision.Uneven suspension response.
- Visible cracking, splitting or deterioration of the rubber bush.
- Increased vibration transmitted through the chassis.
Why Replacement Matters:
- Rear anti-roll bar bushes are constantly exposed to suspension movement, road contamination, moisture, heat and age-related wear. Over time, the rubber material can harden, compress, crack or lose its elasticity, reducing its ability to support the anti-roll bar correctly.
- A worn bush can compromise the effectiveness of the anti-roll bar system, leading to increased body roll, unwanted suspension noise and reduced handling performance. Excessive anti-roll bar movement can also place additional stress on mounting brackets, drop links and surrounding suspension components.
- Replacing worn rear anti-roll bar bushes restores proper stabiliser bar operation, improves handling stability and helps maintain the refined driving dynamics engineered by Porsche. Genuine Porsche replacement parts ensure exact fitment, factory-level quality and long-lasting reliability for continued suspension performance.

Information
Lateral support clamp anti roll bar.
Anti-Roll Bars (ARB’s) play an important role in a vehicle’s suspension system, helping to reduce body roll by transferring cornering load from one side of a vehicle to the other.
Often mounted to the vehicle’s chassis with rubber bushes, these bushes ensure the bar works as intended. To prevent the anti-roll bar from moving laterally within its mounts when turning, OE manufacturers will either bond the bushes to the bar, add dead-stops to the bar itself, or rely solely on the clamping pressure of the rubber.
But what happens when those bushes wear and need to be replaced? Often anti-roll bars with bonded bushes come as a costly complete assembly, so the alternative is to fit a more cost-effective unbonded polyurethane replacement, like the many we offer.
In most cases, friction from the bush will prevent any side-to-side bar movement. Still, when turning aggressively or cornering at higher speeds, a laterally shifting anti-roll bar decreases the efficiency and effectiveness of the bar, changing the dynamics of your suspension system in unpredictable ways. It also poses the risk of the bar fouling on other areas of the vehicle or suspension system.

Constructed from high-quality rubber compound for optimum durability and performance, the anti-roll bar bush plays a critical role in maintaining suspension stability, steering precision and ride comfort. Genuine Porsche components ensure factory-correct fitment and preserve the handling characteristics engineered into the vehicle.
What This Product Does:
- Secures the front anti-roll bar to the chassis mounting points.
- Allows controlled movement of the anti-roll bar during suspension operation.
- Reduces vibration and noise transmitted through the suspension system.
- Helps maintain effective anti-roll bar performance.
- Supports vehicle stability during cornering.
- Contributes to precise steering response and predictable handling.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Knocking, squeaking or creaking noises from the front suspension.
- Excessive body roll during cornering.
- Reduced steering precision.
- Increased suspension movement or looseness.
- Vehicle feeling less stable during directional changes.
- Uneven handling characteristics.
- Visible cracking, splitting or deterioration of the rubber bush.
- Excessive movement of the anti-roll bar within its mounting brackets.
Why Replacement Matters:
- Anti-roll bar bushes are exposed to constant suspension movement, vibration, road contamination, moisture and temperature fluctuations. Over time, the rubber material can harden, crack, compress or deteriorate, reducing its ability to properly support and isolate the anti-roll bar.
- Worn bushes can compromise the effectiveness of the anti-roll bar system, leading to increased body roll, suspension noise and reduced handling precision. Excessive movement of the anti-roll bar may also accelerate wear on related suspension components and affect overall vehicle stability.
- Replacing worn anti-roll bar bushes restores proper stabiliser bar operation, improves handling performance and helps maintain the refined driving characteristics expected from a Porsche. Genuine Porsche replacement bushes provide exact fitment, factory-level quality and long-term durability for reliable suspension performance.

• OE Match repair kit for Porsche 996 Turbo rear stabilizer bar service.
Why Replace This Kit?
Rear stabilizer bar components are exposed to road dirt, moisture, suspension load, vibration, heat, and age. Drop link joints can wear or develop play, bushes can crack or compress, clamps can corrode, and bolts can seize or become damaged during removal. Worn components may cause rear suspension knocking, increased body roll, vague handling, uneven response, or failed inspection. Replacing the drop links, bushes, clamps, and bolts together helps restore a secure and balanced rear anti-roll bar assembly.
When to Replace This Kit
• Rear suspension knocking or clunking is present
• Rear drop links are worn, loose, noisy, or damaged
• Stabilizer bar bushes are cracked, split, compressed, or missing
• Clamps or bolts are corroded, seized, or damaged
• Rear anti-roll bar service or suspension refresh is being carried out
• Handling feels vague or body roll has increased
• The vehicle is undergoing Porsche 996 Turbo suspension restoration.
