What This Product Does
Positioned along the upper cabin-side edge of the quarter window, this ornamental strip forms part of the surrounding interior trim. Its unfinished condition allows the covering to be addressed as part of the refurbishment rather than treating it as a ready-covered trim piece.
Functions
- Provides the ornamental trim along the upper inside edge of the quarter-window area.
- Forms part of the rear interior trim assembly on the specified Targa application.
Technical Details
- Brand: OE Match; supplied untrimmed.
- The supplied diagrams identify applications as TARGA and 911 /TU TARGA.
Symptoms of Fault
Inspect the existing trim for scratches, distortion, loose attachment or gaps against adjoining pieces. Loose fittings can also contribute to rattles, so check the surrounding trim before deciding which component needs renewal.
Why Replacement Matters
Renewing a damaged strip helps restore the appearance and alignment of the window surround during an interior refurbishment. Check adjacent fittings and investigate any signs of moisture damage before refitting.
