Enhance cornering precision and grip with the De-Cambered Ball Joint Kit, engineered for Porsche 911 and Porsche 914 models.
This “new type” FI16 ball joint includes a built-in negative camber offset of approximately 3 mm, allowing the front suspension to maintain improved tire contact during aggressive cornering.
The result is sharper turn-in, increased lateral grip, and more consistent geometry under load — all without the need for additional camber plates or major suspension modification.
Sold As A Kit.
x2 Kits Required Per Car.
Fits:
Diagram Ref No 17, 19, 20, 21
What This Product Does:
Typical Symptoms / Use-Case Indicators:
- Camber losses under hard cornering (e.g. inside shoulder lifting)
- You run aggressive alignment on track setups and want to preserve negative camber under load
- You want a simple way to bias the geometry slightly without major suspension changes
Why Choose A De-Cambered Joint:
- Improved Tire Contact Patch – Keeps the tire flatter to the road mid-corner.
- Better Cornering Balance – Reduces understeer by optimizing front grip.
- Maintains OEM Geometry – No structural modification needed.
- Durable, Race-Proven Design – Forged construction handles high loads.
- Enhanced Precision – Ideal for track-day cars, restorations, and spirited street driving.
