- Even though it’s a small part, because headlamps require precise alignment and secure mounting (for safety and aesthetics), the correct fastener is key for maintaining OEM fit and finish.
Signs You Might Need Replacement:
- Movement or looseness of the headlamp assembly: e.g., when gently pushing the headlamp you feel play, or the headlamp shifts under vibration.
- Mis-alignment of the beam: after replacing a headlight or after an impact, if you discover the headlamp mount appears bent or the securing point is damaged, this securing element may be compromised.
