Information
Radiator cooling fan, 600 W.
The Genuine Porsche 9P1959455BY radiator cooling fan 600 W is the factory-specified electric fan used in the cooling system of Porsche 991.2, 982 Boxster S and 982C Cayman S models. It provides the precise airflow, noise characteristics and electrical compatibility required for the 911 and mid-engine cooling architecture.
Fits:
Porsche 991.2 Carrera 2017 - 2019
Porsche 991.2 Turbo 3.8L 16.11.2018 - 2020 (Engine code: DHNA)
Porsche 991.2 4.0L GT3 / GT3 RS / Speedster 01.04.2017 >> ( Engine codes: DGGA, DGGB, DNS, DSD)

Please note: Before ordering, please check the part number in the vehicle.
Mounted in the front radiator section, this OEM fan works in conjunction with the control unit and temperature sensors to modulate fan speed according to engine load, vehicle speed and ambient conditions. Its precision-balanced blades, high-quality bearings and sealed motor ensure quiet, efficient operation and long service life.
Function:
• Provides Porsche-calibrated airflow through the radiator and condenser
• Maintains optimal coolant and engine temperatures under all driving conditions
• Operates quietly and smoothly to meet Porsche NVH and durability standards.
A degraded or failing cooling fan can compromise the entire thermal management system, leading to elevated coolant temperatures, reduced performance and potential long-term engine damage. Choosing a Genuine Porsche 9P1959455CY ensures the cooling system functions exactly as designed, with the correct airflow, control response and refinement expected from a modern 911 or 982-series car.
When to Replace:
• Overheating or rising temperatures at idle/low speed
• Fan no longer runs, or only runs intermittently
• Noticeably louder fan operation compared with normal
• Cooling system warnings or stored fan-related fault codes
• During front cooling module / radiator repairs where the old fan shows wear, impact damage or water ingress.

Information
Radiator / Engine cooling fan, 400 W, without carrier.
This radiator cooling fan is a direct-fit replacement for the factory 400 W electric fan used on Porsche 992 (992.1 series) models. Designed for precision cooling performance, this fan operates within the original geometry, connector layout, and mounting interface. It helps regulate engine temperature by drawing airflow through the radiator during low-speed or high-load conditions.
Fits:
Porsche 992.1 Carrera 2019>>
PLEASE NOTE: Radiator fan bracket has to be transferred over to new fan or sourced separately. Not included with this fan.
Porsche part number 992121435.
Diagram ref no 2
• Power: Rating 400 W
• Function: Draws air through the radiator to maintain optimal coolant and engine temperature
• Position: Front radiator section, left or right depending on configuration
• Symptoms of wear: Overheating at low speed, fan noise, intermittent operation
• Benefits: OEM-quality airflow and cooling, quiet and efficient motor, plug-and-play installation
• Installation: Direct-fit; reuse original fan carrier or shroud as required
Over time, radiator fans are exposed to heat, vibration, and moisture, which can cause gradual wear of the motor bearings, electrical windings, or blade balance. A weakened or failing cooling fan can no longer move enough air through the radiators, leading to higher operating temperatures — especially noticeable in traffic or hot weather.
Replace your cooling fan when you notice:
• Rising coolant temperature at idle or low speeds
• Intermittent or noisy fan operation (grinding or humming sounds)
• Fan not engaging even when the engine is hot
• Fault codes or warning messages related to cooling system performance.
It’s also good practice to install a new fan during radiator or condenser replacement, or whenever there’s evidence of electrical faults, motor burnout, or impact damage to the blades or shroud.
Replacing with an replacement restores consistent cooling performance, protects the engine from overheating, and ensures the fan system operates quietly and efficiently — just as Porsche intended.
