Diagram ref no 20
The door panel air vent fits into the ventilation opening in the interior door trim. It allows airflow through the door panel vent area while also acting as a neat finishing trim piece for the cabin interior.
Functions
• Fits into the door panel ventilation opening
• Allows air movement through the door trim vent area
• Restores the original interior door panel appearance
• Covers and finishes the vent aperture cleanly
• Replaces cracked, faded, loose, or missing original vents
• Helps improve the look of restored or refurbished door panels
• OE Match replacement for correct fit and presentation.
Why Replace This Part?
Original Porsche 914 interior vents can become brittle, cracked, faded, scratched, warped, or loose with age. A damaged or missing door panel air vent can make the interior look unfinished and reduce the quality of a restoration. Replacing the vent helps restore the correct OE-style detail and improves the appearance of the cabin trim.
When to Replace This Part
• The original air vent is cracked, broken, faded, or missing
• The vent no longer fits securely in the door panel
• The door panel has been removed, repaired, or restored
• Interior trim is being refurbished or replaced
• The vent opening looks unfinished or damaged
• The existing vent is scratched, warped, or discoloured
• The car is being restored to original-style specification.
Where it fits on the car
This air vent fits in the interior door panel of Porsche 914 models. It is installed into the door trim ventilation opening and forms part of the cabin interior trim assembly.
