Information
Indicator Lens Screw Washer, Rubber / Neoprene.
Over time, the original rubber washers can harden, crack, compress, or perish through exposure to heat, UV light, and the elements. A deteriorated washer may no longer seal effectively, allowing moisture to enter the lamp assembly or increasing the risk of lens damage from overtightening. This OE Match replacement restores the correct sealing and protection, making it ideal for maintenance and concours-quality restoration projects.

Ensure a secure and weather-resistant installation of your classic Porsche indicator lenses with this OE Match Indicator Lens Screw Washer, manufactured from durable rubber/neoprene as a direct replacement. Produced to OE-style specifications, this sealing washer fits beneath the indicator lens fixing screw, cushioning the fixing point while helping to prevent water ingress and protecting the lens from damage during installation.

What This Product Does:
- Provides a weather-resistant seal around the fixing screw.
- Cushions the indicator lens during installation.
- Helps prevent water entering the lamp assembly.
- Protects the lens from cracking due to direct screw pressure.
- Reduces vibration at the fixing point.
- Maintains the original OE-style installation.
- Replaces hardened, damaged, or missing sealing washers.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Hardened or cracked rubber washer.
- Perished or deteriorated sealing material.
- Missing screw washer.
- Water or condensation inside the indicator lens.
- Corrosion around the fixing screw.
- Loose indicator lens despite correctly tightened screws.
- Lens damage caused by direct screw contact.
- Compressed or flattened washer.
- Signs of moisture entering the lamp assembly.
- Age-related deterioration of the original rubber.
Why Replacement Matters:
- Although small, the indicator lens screw washer performs an important sealing and protective function. It helps prevent water entering the lamp assembly while cushioning the fixing screw to reduce stress on the indicator lens. A hardened or missing washer can lead to moisture ingress, corrosion, lens damage, and premature deterioration of lighting components.
- Replacing worn sealing washers restores the original OE-style installation, helping to protect both the lens and lamp assembly while maintaining reliable long-term performance. Manufactured to OE-style specifications, this rubber/neoprene washer provides the correct fit and durability for classic Porsche maintenance and restoration.
