What This Product Does
This ball pin forms an articulated connection within the rear anti-roll bar linkage. It is a linkage component, rather than a complete anti-roll bar, drop link or mounting bracket.
Functions
- Provides the ball-pin connection for the rear anti-roll bar linkage.
- Allows articulation at the linkage connection as the suspension moves.
Technical Details
- Part reference: 90133157107.
- Brand: OE Match.
- Installation position: rear anti-roll bar assembly, for steel swing arms.
- Internal diagram description: articulated bolt.
- Diagram quantity: two; supplied individually.
Symptoms of Fault
Rear suspension knocking, play at the linkage connection or visible damage should prompt inspection. Similar noises can originate from neighbouring bushes, drop links or loose fixings, so noise alone does not establish that the pin needs replacement.
Why Replacement Matters
Renewal is appropriate when inspection confirms wear, corrosion or damage affecting the connection. Check the mating joint and surrounding hardware at the same time; replacing the pin alone will not address deterioration elsewhere in the assembly. OE Match focuses on replacement components for Porsche applications.
FAQs
Is this supplied as a pair?
No. Each pin is supplied separately; the diagram specifies two for the assembly.
Should the bushes and drop links also be replaced?
Inspect them during dismantling and renew any components showing wear or damage.
What should be checked before installation?
Confirm the vehicle application, steel swing arm arrangement and original reference. Have a competent technician inspect the connection and follow the appropriate fitting procedure.

Adjustable Drop Links
The ideal sway bar (anti roll bar) is completely unloaded at static ride height. Stock drop links almost always preload the sway bar since the car doesn't sit perfectly level due to asymmetries such as driver weight. Our front and rear adjustable-length drop links for C4/C2 allow you to eliminate preload of the sway bar for maximum performance.
A preloaded sway bar shifts the weight carried by each of the tyres, increasing grip on weighted ones at the expense of decreasing grip on un-weighted ones. This shifted weight/grip causes uneven handling in left and right turns, and premature brake lockup since the less-loaded tyre locks up first. Preload can be completely eliminated by adjusting drop link length and sway bar performance optimized.

Anti-Roll Bars (ARB’s) play an important role in a vehicle’s suspension system, helping to reduce body roll by transferring cornering load from one side of a vehicle to the other.
Often mounted to the vehicle’s chassis with rubber bushes, these bushes ensure the bar works as intended. To prevent the anti-roll bar from moving laterally within its mounts when turning, OE manufacturers will either bond the bushes to the bar, add dead-stops to the bar itself, or rely solely on the clamping pressure of the rubber.
But what happens when those bushes wear and need to be replaced? Often anti-roll bars with bonded bushes come as a costly complete assembly, so the alternative is to fit a more cost-effective unbonded polyurethane replacement, like the many we offer.
In most cases, friction from the bush will prevent any side-to-side bar movement. Still, when turning aggressively or cornering at higher speeds, a laterally shifting anti-roll bar decreases the efficiency and effectiveness of the bar, changing the dynamics of your suspension system in unpredictable ways. It also poses the risk of the bar fouling on other areas of the vehicle or suspension system.
