Information
Air Con Expansion Valve.
Genuine OEM A/C expansion valve, it controls the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator, ensuring correct pressure balance and consistent cooling performance.
Fits:
Porsche 928 1986 - 1995 M570 / M573
Porsche 964 1989 - 1994 M573
Porsche 993 1995 - 1998 M573
* M570 - Cars with air conditioner with improved efficiency
* M573 - Cars with standard air conditioner
Diagram ref no 35
What this expansion valve does:
• Regulates refrigerant flow between the condenser and evaporator
• Maintains optimal pressure for steady and efficient cabin cooling
• Prevents evaporator freeze-up and helps protect the A/C compressor
Location: Installed in the A/C system, positioned between the condenser and the evaporator.
Over time, expansion valves can clog, stick, or wear out, leading to poor cooling, fluctuating cabin temperatures, or compressor strain. Replacing with a genuine Porsche 92857312305 valve restores factory-level cooling efficiency, system reliability, and passenger comfort.
