This OE Match grommet is used in several factory
applications, including:
- Brake master cylinder feed and return pipes.

Although small, this rubber grommet plays an important role in protecting components from wear, vibration and damage while helping maintain factory-quality fitment.
What Does the Rubber Grommet Do?
The rubber grommet provides a protective and cushioned interface between the vehicle body and cables or pipework.
Depending on its installation location, it performs several
important functions:
- Supports brake master cylinder feed and return pipes.
- Protects hydraulic pipes from chafing against metal panels.
- Supports the engine lid release cable.
- Guides and protects the fuel flap release cable.
- Prevents vibration and rattles.
- Eliminates metal-to-metal contact.
- Helps reduce wear caused by continual movement.

Why Do Rubber Grommets Fail?
